This is literally from about a half hour ago Anyhow, I'm a coffee addict. Almost to the point you'd think I'm a recovering alcoholic. Here's a pic from the Texas Wangan (read Toll road) swilling down 16oz with 2.5oz of heavy whipping cream. Half and half is for vegan bitches. Got there early, went for a cruise in the prado. Replaced some shocks, it drives fairly well now. Had TEMS, and one of the shocks went bad up front and started bouncing a front wheel. Randomly. Like make the fucking wheel break your thumb bad at speeds. Never seen anything like it. This thing is way overpriced, shifts hard into overdrive, is gay for being auto, and is just strange overall. SLOW:30, don't pull out in front of someone with the 2lt-e Cool Note on the prado auto though, it's an a343 trans, so basically the same thing as any of the other Toyota autos for sports cars or mid duty stuff, so swapping a 2uz would be Cake as fuck, and then it'd be kinda neat. Basically narrower 80 series axle up front with similar suspension to 80 series but 4Runner style non full floater rear. Weird. I like to think an 80 series met an Isuzu trooper in a bar and fucked it in a bathroom, and had a baby. A coworker's buddy dailies this when its not 100%, or when he has to haul stuff. 65 with a carbed 350 roller crate engine, sweet suspension with swaybars and coils and shit, and either a tremec or T5 5spd. Fucking thing corners flat and drives smooth as fuck. Unreal. Guess I'm gonna go do some stuff to the soarer after I go take PiggyPie to hang out in his tree for a bit. And here's the z20 harness current state. All circuits are run iirc, just need to be terminated. In all reality a GE plenum and Y pipe is all I'm missing from assembling the engine into a running state. I'll have her sealed and stuffed in sometime this weekend. I need to sort power steering hoses and then I'm good to bolt the engine in car for good, or at least a good while. I actually drained the full tank of year old 93 octane the other day. Used the fuel pump to get it out, and put it right in the MarkII. Last night I confirmed the solenoid harness and position switch on your trans was in fact the same circuitry as the z20, just different colors, so it's pnp. Now I need to sort the Supra Stick and grab an IS or celica GTS clock spring and wire me some toggles. And the Mark and Merc this morning. Merc isn't priority. Something is killing the battery. Gordo 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 OK, on the Supra-Stick, I was told by IJ on SupraMania that the speed sensor wheel on the A340E has too many teeth on it, and makes for problems. He recommended that every other tooth be cut off the wheel.. I did that to one, and stumbled across it yesterday when digging for something else. I'll send it up to you. Kyle 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2016 Basic White Bitches Passed out super early last night and got nothing accomplished. Got up this morning and stared moving shit around in my storage, made a huge pile of parts to take to work to clean, then got stuck at home watching the boy for what seemed like fucking eternity. Made out okay, finished 90% of the z20 bay wiring. Everything wiring wise moved inboard in case collision so it'll keep going, all the alternator stuff extended, and relays kinda hidden a bit. Used factory harness stays everywhere Need to get this damn pan on the engine, but I can't find the o-ring for the oil pick-up to the block.
