An in-depth look at white trash etiquette

X8 number 5, build date of September 1988

Bought this earlier this year, it's (almost) my favorite color combo. White with burgundy guts. Only thing that cold top it is if it was pearl white. Car is pretty much a base model, doesn't have power seats. Got it out of San Antonio for $500 missig the drivetrain which makes me happy. No 7m to pull/store/hate. Dude I got it from had it for like four years and fucking failed on every account. Supposedly the car tarted out as they all do, then got a w58, then went 7mgte/r154, then aristo 2jz/auto, then 5.3 Chevy with a "t55" which to my knowledge doesn't even fucking exist. Funniest shit, I told him he must've had to do a lot of work to get the 2j in without bashing the firewall to clear the twins. His reply, "it wasn't easy, bro" hahaha.

So basically, the car was torn down in hopes of a swap and never even saw a 5spd. Never saw any of that shit as the stock exh and all stock p/s is still in its place, and all the security boxes in the way of the clutch pedal haven't been touched. Fucking retard. So here's the beater

And as it sits now. Did all this this morning, I'm picking up my uncracked dash from the watermelon right now. Header shows up Monday, then I'll start sorting out the good stuff

Absolutely not. 100% full functioning street car with a/c that makes modest power. Looking to daily this thing most of the time as I want to build a truck next. Anyhow, waited around all afternoon for a guy from craigslist who had an engine hoist for sale, got a decent deal and it came with a load leveler. At some point I'm going to weld a nut on the end of said load leveler so I can turn it back/forth with my cordless impact, fuck that hand crank bullshit.

So long story short, the hoist is in my sc400 right now. Halfway to my storage to grab a mock up block to put in the car I fucking sharted, so I had to turn around to shower. Fucked my motivation for the day, but tomorrow night I'll be attempting to load a 1j bottom end into the passenger floorboard of my sc400. The hoist in pieces will fit in the back seat. Gonna be interesting.

Good luck with the impact on the load leveler.

I trried it, and it's too fast, and the repeated impact shocks kill the threads........

Been kind of looking for a small gear reduction motor to put on mine.

If anything a drill with an extension/socket setup should work. You can always vary speed with the trigger. If not the crank will still be there, just know my friends leveler sucked and was a bitch sometimes.

Tbone, I was never leaving, just wanted a car that felt like mine, and wasn't silver. I hate silver cars. And for some reason the other one always felt like toepfers. Also, buying a pair of rays ms01's today in 17x9, so I now have a square set, fuck staggered, and the volk pros that we both have a pair of will be for drag radials.

perhaps you should build the truck first...

but this build will fuel the anti-hate to offset all the newbie hate. so thank you for that.

Pants and underwear were both good, had to hover and drive so I didn't squish it in. Washed em in the shower.

I need burgundy visors, that's about it.

As for the truck, passively looking for a 2wd Toyota with a blown engine for a 1uz swap from my sc.

So I'm set back a couple weeks, header doesn't fit. Cxracing equal length meant for sc, barely hits the block bottom rear because 1j bottom end, also don't wanna clearance the firewall for dp clearance. Looking for a treadstone cast manifold now.
