So this thing is finally standing on it's last legs, it burns about a quart of oil in a month and i only usually drive it once or twice a week. I had it tuned on e85 i think back in May and it's been killing it at 450 @ 18 psi.

I'm tired of shitty distributors so i just picked up a GTE vtec that i'll be bolting on all my shit to.

The corolla has been sitting wasting away for a year now, I haven't had time to finish the harness for it so i can sell it or some shit.

Maybe I'll post pictures later today..

amazing what a real tuner can do huh..

Yup, can kill your engine in a heart beat......

hahaha i didn't use jordan's tuner.. this engine has nearly 200k miles, and it still rips... i'll try to finish it off before i pull the engine.

Why'd you get a gte? None of your shit will bolt on to that

The electronic part, I ran all the vvti and gte cam/crank stuff in the harness with expectations of this... in which case, i've got a new gte log manifold, im making a new fuel rail, new intercooler piping and intercooler, new down pipe and wastegate setup...

I'll be selling as much of the other shit..

So in the mean time of getting ready for ethanol, I had decided to re-do my downpipe. The tuner told me that the leaks were throwing off the O2 readings a little so i decided to fix it.

I had a flux mig the first time around and got a tig welder a while back that i was tinkering with.

I also decided to grow up a bit and recirculate the wastegate...

I also had found out that I had two chipped fins on the turbine wheel, i guess i didn't clean the manifold as well as i thought... once i had everything done, the car was tuned and kicked ass for a good while until the distributor took a shit. I replaced it and kept on having fun... the aem infinity really doesnt like the distributor signals and sometimes has syncing problems. (main reason to go GTE)

oh yeah, the speedo gear decided to fall out of the trans after a long night of hard pulls, i mcgyvered a fix, and by some luck i had leftover trans fluid to top it off on the side of the road. Got it home just fine but not without getting a sweet burn from the exhaust...

So with the car running great, I had to still do JZ stuff to keep my blood going..

I picked this thing in San Diego for my younger brother for 1200 bucks to put in Mo's old Poopra..

20160623_193017_zpslw7mpevf.jpg

At first we were going to keep it stock, and we saw how stupid the turbo drain flange would have to be modified to fit the xcessive engine mounts... the rear turbo would go under the bracket and then up to the drain... so we said fuck that and went single off the bat... I was able to get him hooked up with a Comp Turbo 6265, and i did all the fab work for him... he could have done it but since this was his daily car, i didnt want him taking too long. He did all the wiring while i did the other stuff. Knocked it out within two weekends.

So that's that.. pretty successful year so far, I did the ac lines for both cars... his is working great... my a/c compressor decided to take a shit after two weeks...

So i drove my brother's vtec and instantly fell in love... Got my own 2j, it was about fucking time to give up on the NA-T bullshit. The NA-T works for lots but i didn't have much luck keeping distributors alive, as well as the worn engine started to have a ton of blow by.

I had the car tuned again and made a healthy 480 at 18psi, the car's stock fuel lines kept were the limiting factor. So for now the plan is to finish my beans corolla and get back to redoing the fuel lines and add a second walbro 450 down the road to achive stupid 600whp.

The car rips like crazy, totally overkill as it is now and i love this turd again.

don't worry my account isn't private and i dont give a shit for "likes" and "followers"

Cars are running okay, my fuel pump isnt holding any pressure over 50psi so i'm replacing it today... that's why my brother can keep up with the turbo turd.

yea i sound like an idiot, i dont care.

...never learn from your mistakes.

New car made it a whole month before dying, went out to lunch and never made it back.. it started pushing oil out from the headgasket, what a surprise.

at least i've got another 2j waiting at home.

Here's a weak burnout video i got a few days ago... the tires are still new, and I want to make it at least to 9 months before I gotta buy more tires...

The car has been running fine, I finally decided what i'll be doing with the fuel... I got a surge tank that will be feeding two AEM 380 inline pumps. One pump will be on at all times, the second will kick in after 15psi... Eventually I'll get around to it...

If anyone is looking for radiators.. OPL sells some aluminum x8 radiators that have decent fit and work better than the OEM one, quality is meh but for 140 and doesnt leak, I'm good.

Second car is coming along nicely, I'm still working on the trans mount... jk i rarely do any work on it.

I am always amazed by people first deleting the stock fuel pump relay & resistor, thinking they will get some huge power boost,

then dreaming up these schlammie type fixes, to do exactly the same thing that the original system did........

And I've seen some really retarded ways people have tried to do exactly what you say you want to do.

One idiot on one of the supra sites thought he could just put them in series, not realizing that with one pump off, he would get near zero fuel, because the running pump can't pass fuel through the one that wasn't running.

Can't wait to see your plumbing circuit to run 1, or both pumps.

Any idea where you are going to get check valves, that will take modern pump gas ?

And good luck with AEM/chinco pumps.

I did a write-up here, and on other forums about what a total piece of shit their 'stealth' pump was.

Do you think that the AEM your looking at was made any better?

That fucking thing is a chinco knock-off of the Bosch 044.

Good luck.

Hey old man, I think you forgot how long I've been here...

Just because you're still using the stock 7m with the harness that the car came with and probably ecu. I did not remove that shit resistor for "power gains" but for functionality and running bigger power wires to the pump. At higher fuel PSI than you naturally aspirated turd, the amperage goes up... and those wires start to melt.. ask me how i know..

My Infinity ECU is going to control everything... and I only mentioned that they are in line pumps, not that I would run them in such a dumbass way as your supra buddies or "schlammie"

my car is making healthy power I just want to get more out of all the overkill parts that I have.

Volume and pressure are not the same thing.

Just fyi

Well my "dumb ass" knows that if you increase the diameter of the feed lines from the tank to the rail, you don't need dual 380lph until you hit 600hp plus.

I have a single Topsecret 430lph in tank with -6 lines and can hold 40psi at idle and over 50psi at wot putting down an easy 480rwhp.

Revisit your logic.

Sometimes yeah on low boost.

10-20psi boost is where the car plays at.

But you are planning on running 2 pumps, but not both at the same time, all the time.

How do you plan on doing that ? Just a 'T' fitting tying the outlets together ?

Oh, and you are still planning on running 2 chinco copy cat pumps.

And because of the 'AEM' printed on them, you probably paid more per pump, than I did for my real Bosch 044....

Good luck......
