Thanks guys.

 

Nothing exciting with the license. It's a pending case so I will say I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.... Got rolled a block away from my house. Twerpy guy *believed* he smelled something on my breath yet wouldn't show me the Portable Blower nor would he divulge why I had to go to the hospital to give blood. Basically I'm guilty because he said so. Due to a fucking headlight.

 

So this is a huge fucking mess and going to be a lot of fucking money. I've heard that even if the blood comes back under the limit here I can STILL get a fucking ticket for it. So there's an easy 4-6k out the window and a mandatory 6 mo suspension (EVEN IF NOT GUILTY) because of some fucking kid on a power trip who likely had a birthday in 1996.

Even better is this is in my hometown which I am a volunteer firefighter at. Talk about shitting where you eat. I'm not above the law but some leniency to someone who regularly works with these fucking guys would have been nice.
(I save people for free....)

Sorry for being vague, I'm sure you all can infer what I'm talking about. Had to get the fucking Lexus out of impound today and it's a really small fucking town so word travels fast. Other lively hoods (And things I've worked hard to achieve) can be in jeopardy as well.

I switched 100% on my insurance by switching to suspended.

Jacob, yeah that's what I am going for. Now it's pretty cool at the fact that I can keep this setup and keep hucking 300$ NA motors into the car when they pop.

That sucks.

Nothing quite like a newb on the job, on a power trip.

That type doesn't last long.

Either they get fired after too many complaints, or they try to act like king dick with the wrong guy, and get blown away.

Happened in little Canada (Wisconsin) in '79. The local jerk cop pulled over the wrong person, and caught a .357 hollow point, after having words with the perp.

 

Maybe time to move out of Mayberry, to some place with a population of more than 124.

Real cities, the cops are too busy to fuck someone over just to polish their badge.

not really, happens all the time here on vancouver island/victoria and all over the lower mainland/vancouver.

our penalties dont carry as much weight as yours, but our fines are still there.

i do understand, car wise, america is pretty easy going with modified cars, so long as they arent falling apart on the highway. from my experience in WA, Portland and parts of California (minus SMOG)

cars that are normal in WA would be getting vehicle inspections left and right here in BC.

^the down side to socialism on too large a scale. Socialism works better with countries the size of Switzerland, Sweden, etc. Honestly, that goes for any "ism". That's why America is the U.S.A., states are as big as you should get with any government/social structure. The federal government is just supposed to exist for defense and making it easier for states to interact.

we arent socialist tho.. we are both capitalist countries, 2 very different examples, but similar none the less.

federal government exists to be the voice of the people and how they interact with other nations as well as the whole countries amount of natural resources and making sure in state or province has what it needs. its up to provincial and state governments to look after schools, hospitals, roads etc. but as we know, many of those in those positions look out for themselves and not the people...ironically enough, if they looked after the people, theyd have a high paying job for life and people would actually love them if they had adaquet funding for schools, roads werent falling apart, people didnt have to wait years for medical emergencies, if you lost your job there would be money there so you can pay your bills...the basics of life...

 

 

fuck...already had this conversation yesterday with a friend and was already in a negative space...oh crud

Fuck Emanage, I regret it now.

 

Need to figure out how to set my ignition settings since I have IS300 coils with a distributor firing them on a 93 GE non VVTI motor.

fuck man.

I ran that emanage with GTE ecu, the 6 GTE coils, the GTE Igniter, the GTE MAP, and 7MGTE 440cc injectors.

Demesio, these are the settings you had in that file you sent me. I am being told there should be a [CUSTOM] field in the ENGINE type but I am not finding it at all.

I just don't understand the ignition settings here. What are the different channel outputs and inputs? Why are there 2 ign maps? Is this the right crank angle to use the DIST for the crank angle? Many confused. Been trying to work with Kyle but he's out of state right now and I have autism.

Nigel, I don't know. My harness has the other style (2 pigtail) igniter.

I have GTE electronics from an IS

I have a distributor that should be firing the coils.

I have 1000cc injectors.

Just bumping this with my findings, hopefully someone can point me into the right direction. I have my igniter ziptied for now. I read that people say it needs to be grounded through a mounting bolt? Is this just for the DS62 igniter? Not sure how I'd ground that.

 

So this is what I am seeing. I do not have any rpms seen here. The dist is what is supposed to be the cam/crank angle. I also do not have any voltage to the coils.

 

Bad igniter? Bad distributor? Something not set right on the emanage?

I will admit it cause I have balls.

There was a bit of confusion with my wiring harness, particularly the 3 wire. I was under the impression this was for my alternator, which I had a PNP harness made.

After I eliminated all the other problems I had, I was messaging demesio back and forth and I sent him a pic of by B1 plug that was open, to which he said something of the sort "........call me....."

After he told me I was fucking dumb and that most definitely needs to go to something, I put 2 and 2 together. I learned a little something about continuity and found out that I needed to wire up the harness 3 wire to give everything power.
It was a stupid mistake, I should have purchased the wiring harness last, instead of first.

Chris, I have an un-natural fear now of me starting a fire as it would be pretty awk to burn some shit down and have my firefighter bois show up and be like "soooooooooooo...."

Its figured out and it runs so fuck it, i couldn't get my UZ swap to start because i had the starter grounded instead of giving it power.

 

Things like that get overlooked when your worried about the million other things that come with a swap.

I've built 2-cycle bike pipes where the first cone started right out of the cylinder, and had to make a 180 degree turn before it reached it's 4" diameter, and included 3 angle changes.

 

Like what, you have a job, and family, and a real life?

Gordo, lmao yeah I don't have the patience for that, Id end up doing it with a fucking angle grinder cause I don't have a chop saw. Fuck that! I already hate working on cars as it is.
Back to trying to refinish these wheels-- and I'll probably find out they vibrate like a motherfucker. Had a good day with Methyl Ethyl Immakillyou.

Hopefully I can get these sanded and polished some more, the other face is the one I already did. Needs to be more shiny though.

Eh, just use PPE. I handle moderately hazardous chemicals, radioactive materials and many carcinogens all the time and it really just comes down to not being too lazy to protect yourself.
