i cant fucking say it enough. mkIII clutch type, and a wier performance maxlock stage 2. shit works baller.

you can redo the mk3 clutch type to lock harder on your own, by the way. shims from a ford 8.8" clsd fit.

i never said the diff was in a cressida. and i figure you know what a stock cressida looks like sooo no pics.

 

back on topic... how much of a diffrance is it when you shim the mk3 diff?

yo swim, if your talking about putting shims on the spring, im interested, if your talking about shimming the clutch packs/friction plates all you'll do is wear that shit the fuck out. it will lock harder for awhile, but only because you put way too much preload on the shit and cause it to bind.

I wish I had seen first-hand what the rebuilder did to my unit... we'll see how long it lasts once I start driving on it.
