Are you going to do any frame work, or fancy bracing?

Or are you just going to let it flow in the wind?

I thought this was something worth doing.

(just the opening shot, please don't get sidetracked because it's a silvia)

Just picked up a tubing bender to help out.

gordons hood pic below. Hi nathan (thug), cause I see you reading this

Did you do this yourself? this is some sweet hood, though not sure if it could be pulled off without aero.

Not my hood.

That is the one I helped morton design.

He made one for himself, and no others.

Unlike the ones with vents all the way back, that fill the engine up with shit,

this one drains between the engine & radiator.

Step 1: Draw cut out area on hood.

Step 2: Cut out under hood bracing

Step 3: Cut square U-shape in hood, push down

Step 4: Cut sheet metal in long triangles, weld in gaps

Step 5: Find busted fiberglass hood in similar design (probably from a 240 owner) buy cheap

Step 6: Cut out lip section, measure and lengthen as need

Step 7: Mold on to hood

Step 8: Paint

Step 9: Pull massive bitches

LoL !

Yeah, I have a spare hood sitting here for that, but it's like work.........

And it will still weigh a ton.

Besides, with my welding skills, it will end up looking like a Ruffles patato chip.

And I have been looking for some old FRP hood, but all that I find have those multi-louver style vents.

Im down for cheaper kits. i'm bound to blow my S9 up at some point.

@JoooeOne. why don't you buy one of these replicated kits, or an s9 kit and get the shop to replicate it for you. Even if you sold the kits for 600 or so, you'd make money.

All this body kit, over fender, hood talk is getting to be a lot, its unorganized. Hopefully once anything gets produced in large quantities, a "for sale" ad will pop up
