Rue 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2015 Gotta explain the coil mount... Â I worked with Bryan at Power House Racing to come up with it. They already make one for the non vvti 1j/2j and the vvti 2j. I made a deal with him to design and make one that would work with most of the pieces he already had on the shelf that would bolt on to the vvti 1j. He bought materials and provided me with the off the shelf pieces and I did the rest. They are looking into offering them if anyone is interested. Â Next part I'm gonna design for them is a billet power steering reservoir... should be nice when finished. Â Electronic PWM boost controller showed up today... ties into the standalone and does it's shit. Â Â

Rue 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2015 Coils installed... dropping off material and blue prints for the next 3 parts to be machined. I can't seem to get machine time and I know people who can. Replacing all of the gaskets and seals and throwing on a new timing belt and tensioner... the only gasket I have left to buy is an intake manifold gasket. Hope to have it in within the next week... maybe 2 Â

Rue 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Traded the filter/muffler for the Mac valve for a flat one. Â Â Â Machined parts are finished. Â Â BOV delete plate... Â Â Â Mac valve mount... Â Â Â Flange... Â Â Â The aluminum pipe that I'm welding to the machined flange still requires some shaping to get it facing where I want it. Â
RickyFromThePark 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Why not get rid of the j pipe?
Rue 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 It was more practical to keep it than ditch it... mainly a source of constant vacuum. Remember that I have an x7... which means I have vacuum controlled climate control. Ask Jordan what happens to his climate control shit when he's in boost. Look at the back side of the "j pipe" and you will find a little vacuum port. Convenient location considering the location of the little vacuum chamber that runs to the climate control. Â This should show up this week from Zoku... Â
