Funny, you can spell merlot, but not manual... And I feel extremely sorry for anyone that would eat my moms pussy. You'll probably need to start saving for valtrex now instead xanax

^ wow... All bs aside, look through supramania for shit sometimes, or one of the other boards with jz based cars. You'll probably get nicer responses, and a gazillion more opinions. Jzxp isn't the only place this stuff is talked about. Maybe research options, narrow down the selection that will work for you, then ask here about peoples personal experiences with said units and make a selection.

exedy oem and flywheel is more of what i was thinking for now.

My 1j will be kept stock all the way, and my shitty 7m is stock except for a header and intake , but that shit will only be in their until the 7m blows or i get the needed funds for the 1j swap.

These fuckin cressidas aint no joke !

i gotta drift motion lightend flywheeel and clutchmasters stage 4 or 5(can't remember) sprung ceramic... seems good for me & my no finances, no fine asses:/

but driftmotion lightend flywheel is pretty cool i think & the price is right, Bob.

but you get the exedy... thats better than all the other ones you mentioned, mervins.

@ Redbullx83 I hope things with F1 have changed. But for SR20's F1 wasn't that great. Swapped out a clutch, broke it in and after one night of drifting it started slipping.

ACT 2600 + Fidanza Lightened flywheel. Perfectly happy with this setup and don't plan on changing any time soon. Its heavy as hell if its your DD though.

^ This. I have one too. Works great, holds really well, stands up to plenty of abuse and is almost feels like stock engagement. I got mine for well under list price. Bully Clutch

MOD WARNING : Keep shit at least semi on topic. If I see more than 2 consecutive posts not related to clutches from here on in in this thread the posts will be deleted. Feel free to start "your mom" threads in bullshitters, but this section is for technical info, not girly slap-fights.

I was also thinking about my clutch options but my main concern was getting a clutch the prevented crank walk and absorbed drivetrain shock better. Now i know a twin disk is good for this because it pulls different then a single disk but are there any other alternative clutches the help prevent crank walk that dont come with the twin disk price tag?

I would seriously recommend against a twin disk. Maybe it was just my OS Giken, but I went through three TOBs during a year and a half timeframe. I also really hate the on/off feel, with very little room to slip it. Thats just me. The heavier the pressure plate, the more prone the motor will be to crankwalk.

So i ended up buying the exedy oem clutch and a f1 chromoly flywheel all for 400.00

I'll let you know how it worked out.

It would be a waste of time if i was racing or driftin , but this is no performance car . Its more of a family sexy sedan.LOL

Its the stock 7m and r-154 , when i do go 1j in the future i'll go with some thing better.
