Go on vacation for a week and it's like the forum fucking exploded ahaha. Gotta get caught up on shit.

Haha sort of, I just like having lots of spare wheels. Don't wanna run the daily wheels for the back on our track cause they'll get fucked.

 

 

I bent/curbed one of the Meisters coming off the infield to bank that day, tire popped off the bead. Was pissed, but it's fixable.

One more pair and I'll be happy I think.

Nice fucking angle Jack! That entry where you spun on the Penticton track had some insane lock on the front wheels. Are you going to Round 1 in Calgary or the Drift Union event on the 11th in BC?

I'd have to drive Pro-Am in DMCC since my car is not FD spec. Which means more than double the cost, single run passes, and no tandem. No thanks.

 

 

I like competition and all, but I don't plan on ever making this car full pro DMCC spec. I drive it everyday and it's more comfortable than any other street driven drift car yet very capable on track. I like it that way.

If Naoki Nakamura doesn't need a full 167 point weld in cage, I don't either. We need a DMCC SL or something haha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ALSO I'm not ragging on the guys who do go full out and compete in FD, DMCC etc. I respect those guys the most. It's just a personal preference thing, and I prefer no pressure tandem all day with the homies with lots of beer after.

i would choose DU invitational over DMCC anyday. To bad i can't afford either

I'm not dissing DMCC either just to be clear. They've done great things for drifting in Canada and I give them props for that.

John you moron. DMCC has a west too lol. ANd yeah im not going to diss them because they are the only ones that have Legal drifting in Alberta. Without it. We would have nothing.

The french started it.

 

Though what DMCC has done for drifting in Canada is leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else, I think they took themselves too seriously out of the box and made too much focus on rules and reg. I dont like red tape, and thats all they are to me.

I don't have a problem going to Calgary to drift at the practices, but i won't make any effort to go into the competition. i don't want to compete in something i find find fun. Friendly Fun competitions are different.
