Well, might as well get a build thread going.

 

Shit so far:

 

Tein Coilovers/ Camber plates/ RCAs

Recaro seats (pass not installed yet)

1JZ / 5 spd

Downpipe/exhaust

Mines ECU ( i was told)

Greddy EBC

 

 

Unknown Aero

Pewter -ish paint

18 x 9/10 +17/+22 Garson Racing Wheels

 

Blah blah, pretty stock so far. Keeping it as a daily, super fun car.

 

 

In desperate need of an LSD.

 

Picked it up a couple weeks ago, needed alot of work and tlc. Looks, drives and feels alot better now.

Thanks guys. Ill get some better pics this week. Just got back from a 1300km road trip in it. I love this car, so fun.

 

Still looking for a diff for it. Anybody running the TRD 2 way? how loud is it?

I have a kaaz in my S13, and its fucking loud, but I think its the solid subframe and diff bushings amplifying the sounds. Im just looking for a diff that will lock up and be daily drivable. Aka, not chattering tires going into parking stalls.

Come for a drive in mine. My TRD chatters a bit on tight turns but overall it's pretty quiet. Locks up nicely.

You can get 2 way from the toyota dealership. Just use a70 lsd output shafts and you're set now get serious!

Well, car goes for OOP tomorrow, everything should be good.

It looks retared right now, raised up all the way, on stock ls400 wheels. Seriously retarded.

 

Some pics from my phone, once its passed inspection tomorrow, Ill get it all cleaned up and get some good pictures finally.

So turns out this thing is alot of fun at the track. Very consistent. Need to straight pipe it and get a bit more power tho.

I ended up swapping my open diff for a supra diff. Seems to be working great, im pretty happy with it as is.

 

Did find that the temp gauge was reading hot at the track, it was hot as fuck out, but my oil temp wasnt that high, and the motor itself didnt seem to be putting off excessive heat.

I have the digital cluster and I think its starting to fuck up, my warning lights have been flickering on and off inconsistently for the last 3000km, and they were kinda pulsing with the signal lights today.

Very strange, but I think I have an aftermarket temp gauge kicking around and my upper rad hose already has a tap for it so Ill just put that in, and get an accurate reading.
