He made little boxes for my rear upper shock mounts

Gates re-positioned

Just waiting on the rest of the exhaust to come in and other small things I asked him to do

Thanks boys.

I think the car will be done at the fab shop early next week.

And the harness is on it's way back to me.

Maybe just maybe I'll drive it before christmas

Here's the upper shock mount boxes he built with the probably useless custco rear upper tower mount I've had for like 6 years that he modified to work.

My attempt to run the gas lines myself. I snagged these while the car was on the lift at shop (I will pin the one touching the ebrake line down)

Also having the dude make me a little plate that guards the lines where they cross over the rail.

It's still the 7.5.

But I'm convinced the problem with the 7.5 is the crush sleeve spacer they use between the pinion bearings.

I've replaced it with Weir solid spacer when I threw the kaaz in and it's been fine ever since.

Nah only 3 in oval.

I'm only shooting for 400 hp so I think any wider would have been too much

Exhaust came out pretty cool. Stoked about that.

Peeped the faces on my way to pick up the car, lips won't be done till later this week.

I hope they look better put together, they look kinda weird to me right now

You may want to extend that tail pipe a few inches, or you will roast your bumper like I did.

1jz's don't make enough torque to roast bumpers am I right? hahah.

As you can tell my bumper is already done for.

I wish I kept my old trunk

Thanks again duders!

I can't take credit for pretty much any of the Fab work. A buddy has a shop up here and did all the cool stuff: intake, exhaust, IC piping, reinforcing the upper and lower shock mounts, and some other stuff.

Haha now that you point that out Mitto it's all I see!

Here's a picture dump for the little progress I've had:

Super stoked about the wheels, they look amazing!

The plan is to have it drivable to be tuned on Wednesday. Mostly just BS left. We shall see..

My roommate has also been cranking out the UZ car. He also got his FD back running good and shit, so I lost that $100 bet.. All that is left now really is for me to mate the uz harness to the x7 body harness. He already extended half the harness 2 feet so the drivers side bank wires would reach the glove box (since it's a JDM motor, and the USDM harness the ecu is in the bay)
He should just make a build thread for the grey car already because so far it has been 110% him.

End with some dogs salty about wasting a sunday away in the garage:

Thanks man! not as nice as yours!

The night before I was supposed to take the car into get tuned, we looked into a slight gas seepage from the injector rail, turns out I installed the injectors without any lube and ruined 2/3s of the seals.

Eventually got it all sorted and back together.

Overall pretty happy with the infinity it's pretty easy to setup and has a shit load of built ins so setting up all my sensors and stuff was pretty easy. Was able to get it setup enough to start it.

Tuner is pretty backed up hopefully I get it back next week, but with my luck with this car it will probably be a month -_-
