shawley 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 Well had some issues at the track round 1, first day was having boost issues, mount on my intercooler broke and then my coupler was rubbing against a sharp part on the frame and cut a coupler, spent all day finding one that will work in Calgary! 2nd day was goin good once i got the bank down, then after practice i noticed I had a small rad leak, thought what the hell i'll just go for it, went to qualify and cus i was sitting with my car running for about 25 min and the coolant going on my fan then all over my engine bay/serpentine belt i went to Clutch kick 3rd and damn the belt just flew off, we finally got it back on for me to make a 2nd run and it flew off and shredded, and I was done for the day Anyways heres one pic I have from it! shawley 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2010 Was good to meet u too piggity, But i had the same sorta issues at round 2, found my boost leak, and fixed my e-brake. I qualified 9th, but in top 16 tandem i lost a belt first run, took my 5min, got it fixed and back out there, knowing I had a zero from the first run, I went all out, out running a s13, but went way to fast into the corner and ended up spinning! shawley 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 Well DMCC West Round 3 went great, my belt fix worked thanks to G for the info!!!! I qualified 3rd, here is the link to the run that did it for my, Tony Angelo and the rest of the judges set up a shorter course than last time, trying to make it a bit more technical for the guys.
