diff bushings for x8

been searching on the forum but havent seen any yet. i went to toyota and to replace with oem cost about $110. anyone make diff bushings?

I made solid ones for mine.

$110 has to be with the install or parts people get confused sometimes cause they come up as a cushion not "diff bushing"

 

I work at toyota and got both of them for around $45

how much would you charge a set for solid bushings? this is all 4 correct?

 

$110 was for all 4 bushings + new sets of bolts and washers. if duaxmachine can not make me a set, do you think you can hook it up with that price?

Man, I will have to dig to see if I even kept the print on them.......

They are pressed in,

and you need to build some type of puller to get the stock ones out of the subframe.

I can send pictures, but it's basicly a long bolt,

with a piece of tube that sits against the subframe.

I can send picture if needed.

 

How much of a rush are you in ?

I am trying to get the street car prepped for the Texas Mile right now,

But after that I will bee pullking the diff out to try my 5.30 drag gear set,

and I will have to make a set for it.

 

So if you have some time,

I can make a set fairly cheap.

im not really in a rush cuz im mainly working on my s14 trying to get that ready for track.

im pretty sure in apxero's build thread he has a portion in there where he made solid ones out of some roll cage tubing...pretty easy....not sure what tools you have access to or how radical you want to do your car but if your looking for solid, thats the way to go

ohh sit -thought you were talking about different bushings not the ones pressed into the sub frame

so i found out, i am missing that hex bolt to the diff cover (which is the reason why my diff shakes when i drive it).

 

any luck on those bushings?
