Jason 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 http://www.xpressbase.com/clients/driftmot...amp;iViewFlag=1 is this jammy compatible with the 1jz big single mani + turbo + vband DP? all into my URAS exhaust? i think i phrased this wrong. is this DP supposed to mate to the 1j single dp? or is it supposed to mate to the twins Y pipe... what do i need to fit a big single into my car as simply as possible? id prefer to get the whole kit and throw it in and be done with it. however im fairly certain that a degree of cutting and welding is going to be required... so yea... whats the deal with this? iheartMX83 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 looks like it is for the stock twins.
BigAaron 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 It is for stock twins. I have another dp that is for a single, but it will require welding. There really is no way around doing some welding in order to make a single kit on teh cheap. There are too many different manifolds and downpipes and also they are made for several different cars. Here is my universal dp kit, but like I said it will require welding because it was originally for a mk4 or Soarer: http://store.driftmotion.com/Static/Item1j...downpipekit.php
Jason 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 k ive got that in my cart. do i need the front pipe? http://store.driftmotion.com/Static/Item3103-rt006.php or am i better off just having that part fabbed up? ive heard tale that its the same part on all toyota I-6 but yea...urban legends
BigAaron 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 I would probably have that part fabbed up for you. It's too much for just a pipe that will be cut up. Buy a few 3" flanges and take it to an exhaust shop, that's what I would do...
