I don't owe shit and I own everything. But hey whatever works. And stanbo, I can understand why you'd go into debt you have a nice personal life and house etc. In the US you cant even buy a house withh money right? Jason 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 i actually have used my credit card VERY LITTLE in alllll of my builds. i used loans to pay for my h22 civic when i was 21 and it ate me alive. i thought i could handle it then and it turns out i was wayyy off. i learned my lesson. i built the corolla, 240, and cressida almost exclusively with cash/pp. if id used cc's id PROBABLY have "NICE" cars like mark says. its not "nice" till the aero is on and its all painted. i owe my dad $2-3000. i owe my one CC $6-700 which i plan to do a ballance transfer onto the new card so im at 0% for whatever the period is, in which time ill have it paid off. ill also PROBABLY be paying for my s9 shit via card, although ive got 600 in checking and 1300 in savings. now if i could just stop breaking shit on my cars long enough to pay off my dad, id be in good shape. StanBo 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2008 You are right Mark. I am pretty happy withh my life. I am a daddy to two kids, have a nice wife and house. But I did learn the hard way about CCs. Right now I could purchase all the stuff I want for the car withh a CC or two but it would be silly. You are half right withh the money in the bank for a house. The normal way is to have 20% saved and take out a Mortgage for the rest. Some people puchase on 100% finance (I did withh my first home temp planning). Man Jason I wish there was a magic button to skip to dropped, aero and wheels. Going on ziptied and many other sites drives me bonkers at times lol. When are you doing the aero? Jason 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2008 all 4 corners are on. i NEED to order a pair of wheels. tires.com is OUT of battle in 18x9.5+23 and thats pretty much what i was banking on. they still have 17x9.5+15 so i might just grab a pair of them and make it work. i *broke* my BOV last week so i need one of them. the valve ripped off the baseplate. it was supposed to be an original hks SQV...but looks like its made of plastic...wtf? i also need to order s9 endlinks. G, you have those in stock and ready to ship? im not in a HUGE hurry...its not like the car will be moving anywhere till ive got a bov and a pair of wheels and tires anyway..
