JZX100 1JZ in a IS300 oil pan differences

Recommended Posts

For anyone here or searching on google wanting to put a JZX100 1JZ VVTi in a IS300 you need to swap the oil pan from the stock 2JZ to the 1JZ for it to clear the crossmember. You also need to swap the oil pickups as well for it to align with the more forward and deeper sump of the IS300 2JZ.

I am not sure if you need to do this with a JZX110 1JZ because I am sure they are very similar to IS300 being the chassis are nearly identical.

^ your response reminded me of the peer responses from online college course discussion boards.

We have to write and post a response to a weekly topic using 3 cited sources and have to respond to 2 of your peers' posts. The peer responses are a little something like, " Wow Sharon, I really like the way you articulated your response and used your sources to prove your point. I think this is great information and I look forward to reading your post next week."

I miss the days when courses used to just be a midterm and a final (or final paper). Its post secondary education, people will learn the material if they want to. That being said, I definitely thought the same as AcidTrip when I read this post.
