V pretty.

I pray for you swapping those with the engine in the car. Let me know if you want me to swing by when you do it!

Question....

Do CT turbos start going bad right when you buy them, or do they actually have to be installed to start failing ?

You might want to wait a week or so, to see if they start leaking oil just sitting there in the box.

i’ll know when i install these.  the pair in the car now are 27 years old and work just fine, so there’s that.

Ya you really shoulda put a 20 year old turbo on there 😂 Because those are the only "good" ones.  Trust or bust

I meant CT, as in Toyota CT turbo, in light of what Rue went through with his CT repeated rebuilds until he gave up and bought a BW,
and all the CT's that have the same short life in the Supra world.

So first of all Brian, congrats on the upcoming addition!

So...when can we expect this to be put up for sale so I can start getting my ducks in a row?

probobly because that seems the standard, kid comes and your dreams go.

i'll provide some anecdotal evidence to the contrary:

i had a kid, kept all of my projects.

they are stalled but not because of the kid, specifically. more because of me.

Can I have some advice on this?

Woman argues that I can keep all my junk.

I don't know if finances will speak the same. Not expecting, just probably will be in 3 years.

i will say that the best investment is land. store ALL your projects there, even if they constantly depreciate the property itself should only appreciate in value, assuming the gov't doesn't come calling with eminent domain. that's being abused here, look up "Panther Island" for details. same happened to my grandparents' land when they wanted to build a highway thru it.

what you own legally is only yours as far as you're able to defend it :)

Grown up responsibilities eventually kick in, and you gotta hope you make enough money to burn into the money pit. Otherwise, you gotta piss in it and walk away..

Brian wont have that problem..

working harder > selling shit you love.

i feel one of the most important things you can pass down to your kids is your passion.  these lifeless zombies these welfare abusers are pumping out have no interests and no hope.  they scare the shit out of me and will probably be the undoing of this place.  so keeping your car and projects is more nobal and far more important to the wellbeing of your children then selling for a few thousand dollars that will just solve a couple months of problems.
