I miss my old HKS Super Sound BOV.

 

I know its a stretch, but if anyone has one and its in good shape, let me know.

 

 

i figure Gordo probably has one sitting in his dining room that he forgot he owned.

I still see them in Japan, and may have a few parts, but don't think I have the horn.

A lot of them died due to the back hose nipple getting broke off.

 

Even have an electronic control, much like a EVC, that allows you to tune it's response from a dash mounted black box.

Mine was broken in that video... it actually still worked just fine. not sure what the top vent really did. having it would probably be optimal though.

I've always thought that one could either drill the phenolic back, and screw in a 10-32 barbed fitting, or make a whole new metal rear dome, that attached like one of the adjustable FPR kits people used to make.

They don't work properly without that rear hose attached.

Gordo, you have a similar era boost gauge? 1.8Bar or higher?

I found an aircraft style, panel mount HKS boost gauge on YAJ but it had several wires in addition to the vac source and I didn't want to risk it requiring some weird controller box.
