AJ is some dude from chicago who thinks he's the authority on 'stylish' cars.

Ohh, that guy. He had some nice looking cars, although it's easy to toss wheels, coils and a kit or no kit and not fuck it up but 85% of "car guys" do. His IS is actually terrible looking with whatever paint/wrap he has going on...the red one I see doing a skid anyways.

I'm not taking credit for a single thing in this world, let alone your cookie cutter car. None of my cars are outside OEM and wheels. It's simple and easy, no fiberglass. Give your head a shake bud. Watch more letterkenny

Gordo, fucked up parts are just scratches and some cracked and ripped fenders/overs and kit.

battleaxe, tbh rn i dont know if the rack solenoid is plugged in or not ill double check when i get home. but basically i swap in a new ps pump and no power steering.

so i figured id just replace the rack with an x7 one and new jz pump since they both are shit.

jz's are great their ps systems suck cocks.

Picture damnit !

You can type 'titts', and it doesn't really mean a thing, but if you post an image of a really nice, firm rack...

When my ps did not work it was just my solenoid. Then I hooked it back up, then my pump died lol. I used a is300 pump but they are spacer out a c hair more, so I flipped the pulley around and now it lines up correctly. A local friend jimmyd up a GM pump with a res on it, seems to be readily available and cheap but I have no interest in doing that much work for something I barely drive. If u do x7 rack it uses a different bush.  From what I keep seeing all these urethane bushs are garbage. Mine slips, Jordan has eaten 2 sets I'm sure there's more who have had a ruff go of them. I'm going to look into oem replacements if I can't get these to stop slipping. When u turn the wheel and nothing happens on the highway...that's scary

I'm convinced mine blew out because my overkill caster it's pretty bindy around full lock. Also x7 uses a different solenoid and I'm pretty sure your not gonna get that if you order a new rack online gonna have to source one

I run x7 rack conversion, XM urethane bushings, IS300 pump, Chasebays reservoir, full AN line conversion, and solenoid UNPLUGGED. Steers and counters like a Cadillac. I can u-turn in a two lane street.
I saw Jordan's bushing blowouts and I haven't experienced it. Not to say I won't in the future, but for now it's still going strong.

i have an x7 rack that was "depowered" in its life, some sort of conversion rack bushings, is300 pump now, flipped pulley as it didnt line up previous, made a L bracket to support the pump, full AN line, blocked the solenoid off because it was unplugged before (steered like cadillac) then i did long LCAs, steering was difficult at low speeds, great on high way. decided to toss my x8 solenoid back on the rack, instant cadillac at all times, then my pump gave up and then i swapped pumps.  maybe having it blocked off was bad? maybe it was my failing pump? maybe it was the longer LCAs as theres more tension and leverage (my supra has no PS and pre arms it was like stock, after arms its a tank)

TLDR, but if you are having issues with the rack slipping side to side in the bushings, call Xcessive. They had issues with their early X7 to X8 bushings being too loose. They fixed it now and replaced mine no charge. No more slippage.
