AcidTrip 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 Test fitted up my BN REP kit & installed S9 trim delete kit, Tryna figure out how ill survive at this ride height. Debating on the raising car. (dont want to) or shorten kit or just remove the kit every time i want to leave my driveway in conjunction with ramps.
battleaxe 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 do them plates and raise it a titch
Gibbs 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 not worth the extra effort of cutting it up just raise it a tad no need to destroy the kit right away
Demesio 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 just remove the kit when you wanna drive it 😂
Tbone 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 Kit looks great.Fucking love it man!!! I want that kit badly now! Fuck the cool guy points.Raise the car up to a drivable height or that kit will be destroyed in less than 30 mins of driving. Love the car man!!! Best looking cressida stateside imo. Needs some kind of trunk spoiler.Either the yamaha wing,or joes aero whale tale, rocket bunny,326 drag wing.Something to balance out everything that's going on with that sick af bn rep kit. Needs joes aero rear window louvers just to add the the 4 doors of fuck you that this x8 screams! Fuck I love the ssr koenigs!
Gibbs 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 anything joes aero is fucking garbage

tuner4life 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 Ugh... I want this kit so bad, but can 110% guarantee it'll be destroyed on the first drive.. Tough decisions....
AcidTrip 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 I'ma shorten the skirts and rear bumper an inch. I've worked way to hard to achieve this fitment to just ruin it. #Death2tireSidewall Front bumper is 1 van height from the ground and that's perfect for drivability. I have a S9 skirt I test fitted & it's about a 1/2" off the ground and i can get out of my driveway just fine. i kinda like the window louver idea but i will never own anything that joe's aero makes. I had his kit and its trash and sold it and seen his trash "whale tail" *CRINGE* As for a trunk wing i may do a low mounted wing eventually. tbone your compliment is greatly appreciated. ❤️ and id love to see pictures of Tores x8. Things id like to work on after getting it painted. center caps for my koenigs. chrome door handles. check to see if jzx90 ganadors can work with x8. mark ii front end swap. LUMBERZACK 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 Front end swap after paint. Right on. Why not just buy a Mark II after you roll this shell?
AcidTrip 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2019 maybe i will buy a mark ii for a nice daily.

battleaxe 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 noiice. cressidas still look so weird to have body kits on them. guess, to me, it would have to strip back all the chrome and paint everything, try to verossa it i guess, take something really ugly and do a full make over and put the wildest everything on it to see how it looks. (magician cars)
Nigel_Vertigo 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 Someone needs to make a kit that doesn't extend down 6" past the body and ruin your ground clearance. They're all so stupid. I would scrape on medium speed bumps with stock body.
Tbone 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 ^^Serial Nines Type 2 kit does'nt extend 6" past the body. https://www.serialnine.com/type2 Space ship kit is sick as fuck!!! About time someone made a proper BN sports big win type 2 kit.I've been waiting along time for this kit to become readily available this side of the planet. The whole point if this kit is to fit wide as fuck wheels, and acheive that slammed on it's gut's space ship look.I love it. (Bon Bon x81 chaser provenance as well) Price is pretty good to! Having canadian money sucks though
futtbucked 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 Kyle I would raise the car and try to space the wheel out (assuming its not getting raped by fender). You have to have the wheel/tire poking past body kit, not vice versa... also if you buy anything Joe's aero I WILL stab you
AcidTrip 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2019 Replaced my bent tie rod and removed a lil bit of camber from the front. waiting on bash bars to be done being fabbed up then its paint time.
Tbone 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2019 Car looks mean af!!!! Even without the kit this x8 looks amazing man! Fitment looks so perfect.Nice job. Hurry up and paint this that psychedelic black
AcidTrip 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2019 Got some bash bars made finally to hold up my kit. (ignore my wonky corner light/ head light fitment and crooked exhaust; those will be fixed soon) They're made of mild steel so i'm not sure whether to paint em or powder coat em to prevent rusting.
battleaxe 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2019 i dont think ill ever understand why people make their bash bars like this, on top of having no give. do a light crash and fuck up your whole front end
Gordo 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2019 Is there any bracing on the top at all ? Does it bolt up to the stock bumper attachment points on the chassis ?
