bigtoepfer 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 Took delivery two days ago. Changed the spark plugs and washed it up nice. Vacuumed it. Found the old lady had 30 years of service history so that was cool. But also found out I'm the fourth owner not the third. The old lady bought it in 86 for $3300 with 33k miles on it.Still had a miss. Found out one of the terminals on the cap is corroded really bad. So ordered a new cap and rotor. I'm used to recording in a smaller place with less echo. However, if i keep recording with the camera outside like that I'll definitely have to get a Rode with a windsock. But I did buy a mic for voice overs. So that has improved drastically. It didn't take long to prepare. I just got the parts, so I brought the camera with me. Not something I typically do. And after it took maybe an hour to go through the footage I had. Unfortunately I didn't charge my battery before I started so I didn't as much footage as I wanted.
