FS: 1uz/w58 direct swap for 89-90 X8

Well i guess the time has come, i've out grown my 1uz.

 

figured i would post here first.

 

~92' 1uz-fe with approx, 175,000 miles, strong motor no leaks, no problems.

~88' w58 with most likely the same amount of mileage feels great shifts smooth.

~F1 stage 2 clutch Approx 3000-4000 miles practically brand new.

~89-90 xcessive motor mounts

~Harness modified to fit 89-90 X8 wired properly everything works minus A/C everything still labeled.

~ Newer timing belt, water pump, starter, all seals (oil pan, valve covers, front & rear main, intake exhaust, etc..)

~EGR delete

 

Any questions just ask.

 

Will include other parts for extra.

~xcessice 1 piece driveshaft $200

Too cheap Tuners.

It would take forged pistons, and aftermarket rods, only to be able to do mild boost.

Why mild boost ?

 

Not enough main bearings........Typical V-style engine design weakness,

2 cylinders between each 2 mains.

Where as an Inline six has only 1 cylinder between each 2 mains

I would love to turbo this if i had the cash, but i would also have to upgrade transmission and would do arp head studs and all the fancy stuff that said im cheap.

 

my buddy with and SC400 turbo'd his 1uz and ended up getting fed up with it with all the money he was throwing at it and now has an lsx turbo going in. Go figure.

 

Who knows it might not even sell and ill stick with it.
