Okidriftjr 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 So I am hearing rumbleings that AEM infinity is not properly supporting VVTI. Anyone have any input or experience on this?

WhoreMouth_Jr 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2016 Ya, it worked in early 2015 when they launched, but they removed support because the internet said vvti was worse than non-vvti, and "the wiring is crazy" -car guru on internet. https://www.instagram.com/p/87aSlYwjiY/?taken-by=bbrtuning But ya what kyle says, Jose pretty much just does vvti now, he even wiring it into my harness without asking hah
huckersideways 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2016 I'd like whoever started and continued the 'vvti is too hard' trend to go ahead and kill themselves for the betterment of this farce of a society.

WhoreMouth_Jr 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 ^ Hah, All the other stuff I'm remedying before I put the new motor together (Get my timing gear tached and a billet timing tensioner, and of course not using a different tooner, fuck). Harness is flex-fuel and vtech enabled already, might hook up a flex sensor this time just for shits n gigs. Just not willing to completely reinvest into a new head right now. rkc14 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 Good write up on cheap flex fuel stuff. http://www.mr2oc.com/202-alternative-fuels-forum/458384-affordable-flex-fuel-sensor.html
WhoreMouth_Jr 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 It's just a sensor and 2 adapters if you want to run AN haha. The only thing I would do differently is use the non-plastic an adapters I think those ones with the plastic pieces have been know to fail after time. Something like this instead http://www.driftmotion.com/3-8-GM-Push-On-Fitting-to-AN-6-p/dm3131.htm Also the links in that thread are outdated (Thread is from 2012)
