Dirty_Rotor 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2015 So I just started my motor for the first time today and it idled fine for a second before it started spewing a rust brown oily liquid from the turbo outlet pipe and I shut it off Im assuming its water from when somebody pressure washed the motor before I got it but Im not sure.... there wasnt really a smell like i said it was oily to the touch and I decided not to taste it lol before start up the outlet pipe did have a tiny bit of black oily soot in it but nothing extreme. Could it be coolant? Is it just oil and my turbo is fucked? Am I an idiot and its something else? I searched around and nobody has ever talked about this happening I'm hoping its not a big deal and I just need to get it to cough it all up let me know what you guys think. aphxero 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2015 the dudes in jp will sometimes put oil in the comp housing to keep them fresh. How long you run it?

dzero 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Try it again and keep it running. could just be clearing shit out from sitting. I doubt if theres an issue that running it for 10-15 mins and keeping an eye on fluids/temps/etc that it would hurt anything anymore.
