Yeah... Guess that looks better. Decided my bro and I are going to paint both our cars the same color. Probably going to be some sort of grey/charcoal. Too many white x8s around here.

Stock cams for now. I'll post up a graph this week. Made around 460hp 440tq @16 psi. I'll turn it up when I get some cams and get better at drifting lol

Any in-car of the event?

Charcoal is nice, still needs a different color trim I think... unless you do something like a trim delete.

Been a while.

Actually made it to three drift events this year. That's pretty ground breaking for me ...

Cooked my r154 so I'm making a lateral move with the ar5. We'll see how that goes. Painter is just waiting on me to get that stuff done but I'm slacking.

I have some in car but it's not that exciting.

Thanks! Yeah definitely a lot of work flopping that diff around 100 times but worth it for easy to find strong diffs. Also could slap in a TT 6spd diff if I ever wanted to make 1200 hp lol

so...why do people swap to a MKIII or now MKIV diffs for these cars? especially for "just a drift car" do yours keep failing? exploding?

I probably wouldn't have done it if I hadn't seen my buddy Danny blow through like 6 of them. I only went through one so far.

Reasons I did it:

- I wanted to get it over with in the winter/slow season

- needed to order custom driveshaft for my ar5

- I had the 4.3 diff laying around which is the gearing I wanted anyway - also easier to find replacements for me at least

- no way was I going with a mkiii diff

- Wanted to see how involved it was because we might do the same for Danny's cress too

- Uses stock Supra axles!

- I want to crank up to 6-700 for street

i can not fathom how a person can blow a diff, let alone 6. the only diffs i have seen fail have been guys who welded them and didnt check preload or backlash etc. general dumb things.
