Tbone 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2018 So that billet wheel connected to your throttle cable sitting beside the throttle body.Thats 94 camry shit? What are you running for a throttle body? Factory 2jz?
ChriSOL 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2018 never thought to use iacv like throttle bypass. thats neat! theres a company out there selling both types as kits and an sai manifold for jz applications. https://youtu.be/RKmIvBw_AHI
hantavirusx8 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2018 Nah it's an ebay 84mm throttle body with a 1j tps. I'll try to get some antilag vids soon. Maybe do a burnout or something.

hantavirusx8 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 Broke a ringland on number 6 after a wastegate spring mishap Car still ran fine but felt a little off. Bought a 2jzge vvti from the junkyard, shows up monday. Picked up gte pistons and rods, BC springs and retainers, and ACL rod bearings. Dropping the head off for a resurface and valve grind. Using an NA headgasket to maintain proper quench. Should be a ripper.
Demesio 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 I literately have a ge vvti head with bc springs and retainers covered in WD-40 and wrapped to shit in my garage i could have sold to you... saving it for a rainy day.. still think you should stick to NA pistons. Okidriftjr 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 NA pistons have smaller ring lands.
Demesio 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 the application is all wrong to begin with, i'm well aware that the lands are smaller. Isn't the point of the ALS to help with bottom end power? high compression will help with that, and more so with vvti... if you're going for cool points, by all means disregard anything i say. Thanks.
Gordo 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 Personally, I think anyone not running forged pistons is a woosy......especially in a boosted engine.
