Yeah, I was looking up fenders for reference and came across your car with the fronts on. Could tell it was your car by the engine bay. I had been putting off doing the fenders because I didnt want to fuck it up and I take forever to decide how exactly I want to do something or have it look. I almost just considered getting overs but theres just something about good looking metal fenders that I love.

seatbelt swap, dipshit. but if you weren't illiterate, just flipping though the pictures like a where's waldo book, you'd have known that.

Should have told him you were going to use dictate for seatbelts.

So, I made some more bad decisions. Sold the Tacoma, and picked this ke70 up super cheap. Runs, drives, and only has 78k. With the left over cash, I should be able to get the cressida road worthy, plus some.

Thats what I liked about it Chris, plans are to clean up the interior, paint, coils and wheels. Maybe a swap after I finish the cressida.

So I sold the Cressida Cressida last year to help fund my move to colorado. And after a year of working to get on our feet I was able to get a jab that will allow me to fund a build. Right now I'm trying to decide between a few options. Wait to find a nice mx83, and do a swap. Buy a GS300 and swap in a turbo head and cd009. Buy some kind of X81 and build that up. Or even see what the prices will look like on an X9 since they'll be legal in 2017. It's probably going to come down to what I find first as they all have the same positives (will have some kind of JZ, and as good looking sedan) and negatives (will need some kind of swap). I haven't imported a car before so I don't know what kind of head ache that is, so if Kyle or disco shine some light on that if it's more trouble than it's worth. I also know most of you have owned one of the cars I mentioned so it you have an opinion on what option is a bad ideas, fell free to chime in . I'm just itching to make another bad decision, was wanting to bounce ideas off people who know what I'm talking about.

If I were to get another Cressida, I'd want to find one as close to stock as possible. The swap the part of the Cressida I like the most. If anything I was going to talk to you about importing a car.

Importing a car is easy. Finding someone you're willing to trust to send thousands of dollars over seas isn't

Most people are these days Kyle.

It's really getting consistently worse here with sub 10k cars.

Good news for you guys is trump is probably going to drive the price up even more.

Kyle, I'd be willing to pay that for a chassis that has 15k and is an mark ii that I can swap in a JZ and 6 speed for less than a stock jzx81 mark ii 5 speed.

Is rather buy a chassis that's auto and already 1j.

Oh wait I did.

And it'll never be finished.

Ever.

I thought you'd done this before and realized that a 5 speed 1j swap starting from fresh is a 4K ticket. You're now in 10k territory, with 100 hours of labor added in. I don't see where that adds up. If he'd sell it for $4k, MAYBE, but meh
