Urrik 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2016 Yeah that was from before I knew any better. Been eyeing BWs for more than a year now. Nothing else is happening, however, until the car is one motherfucking color. Mostly gave up on the two tone dreams, but if that does happen it will be white and silver. I like gray too much though
ChriSOL 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2016 emulate es250 color combos, get gold lexus badges. BW => smedingturbo.com.
Urrik 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2016 Now I can finally get some sleep. Still have to wire the Mark II lights and put the rest of the trim back on. I haven't seen it in daylight yet. The color has a blue and green pearl that keeps my dick rock hard.
tuner4life 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2016 Wow, this car turned out pretty damn decent! I like the color. Btw, the title of this thread makes me think it's about a Mustang.
Tyler 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2016 This thing really looks great! I really like the subtle color. A rarity in these times.

Urrik 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 Thanks people. Put the rest of the front on. Bumper cover is a little crooked because it's sitting on a bent bumper frame. Always reminded of where this car came from. Maybe I'll fix it. Maybe I'll just drive it. Interior is apart right now, swapping stuff from the silver car, then I can start throwing some shit away. I've also got someone to take some real pictures of this thing that aren't in my driveway Btw, the title of this thread makes me think it's about a Mustang. Urrik 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2017 Took it out for the first time this year. Trying to get feeling back in the brakes. Blew out my turbo flange gasket and fried my stock LSD. So at least I know it's still a Cressida. Swapped the nice clean interior from the parts car that also has a nice mouse shit smell. Not sure what happened to that NCmx83 guy so I modeled my own gauge mounts and had them 3D printed by a coworker. The heater vent panel clips in like the factory piece:
Gordo 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2017 Shit, do the other vent also, and sell the damn things as a kit. Or sell them individually. Looks good !
Urrik 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2017 I'm going to look into getting my own printer soon, and if I get one I'll probably do something like that. The computer that I was using Solidworks on is gone now, so I'll also have to get another version of that so I don't have to use Onshape.
NAC 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2017 What printer are you thinking of? I'm trying to convince my boss to get one (because it will be hella under-used and I will just use the shit out of it for personal stuff).
Urrik 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 I'm thinking something like an XYZprinting DaVinci or similar. Nothing too fancy. I want to at least be able to do both ABS and PLA and have a completely enclosed build area. I really wanted a 10" x 10" or greater build tray but with that sizing you're getting into the big bucks it seems like. This one is a 7.8" cube which I think I'd be okay with.
NAC 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 What is your reason for wanting an enclosed area? Noise and fumes?
Urrik 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 Yeah mostly for the controlled environment because it would probably go in my basement. Don't want hair or dust or whatever's in the air getting in it. Shit particles. ABS smell doesn't bother me all that much
NAC 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2017 Yea, makes sense. If I get one it will be in one of the rooms in my lab, which is ventilated with reasonably filtered air and a constant 23C temperature, so that isn't really a factor for me, just wanted to make sure there were not any reasons I was missing that would apply. Urrik 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2017 Yeah that would be perfect for an open build tray. As long as nobody walks by and gets the idea to fuck with it. To be honest I'm still pretty new to this shit myself, just took general knowledge of it from working loosely with the 3D manufacturing guys at work for a couple months. Most I've done to the machines themselves is change filament reels on the big printers.
