Hey! I'm new to this forum stuff but here i am, trying to get help for my stupid build. I'm from Norway and got a hold of a run down, stupid cheap rx35. The problem i have is the 18r engine, it's shit! Here in Norway the jz engines is double the prize of what I paid for the car so that’s not gonna happen on my budget, so I got a hold of an 7mge that I want to put in. I already got the engine so don’t try to talk me out if it. I was wondering, has anybody done this type of build before? People have probably done the m to 7m builds and jz/uz builds but I haven’t seen anybody do an R to M conversion? It’s my first Cressida engine swap so I need all the help I can get. If anybody has done an mx30 7mge swap, you could probably help me as well. Any info I can get about x3-7m builds would be appreciated. (and yes I have googled the hell out of this shit…) Things I need help with is; tailshaft diff/rear axle gearbox sump/oil pickup engine mounts

Here's my problem. Just bought a Cressida with a blown head gasket. I found an IS300 2J but I'm not exactly sure how much work is involved with putting it in. What scared me was, I called a guy to ask him how much would it be for him to put in a 1j and he said $5500 with motor engine and labor. He was offering a bit more than just the swap but the car would have to run 9s in a 1/4 mile for me to pay him that right now. 7Ms and 1Js don't cost that much and I'm sure I could find a VVTi 2J for under $1500 so what am I missing. Now I'm sure it's not a plug and play swap but I'm just looking for a ballpark figure of how much a is/gs300 swap should cost -
i have a stock bellhousing for a w58 off of a 91 mk3 supra NA. this 7mge bellhousing is in great shape and will include the clutch fork, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder for 50$ as a package deal. if not 35$ for the bellhousing. located in so cal, will ship for the right price. hit me up if serious with a PM or 760-713-3275. everyone knows what this shit looks like. if you dont, you prolly dont even need it.im using the w58 for my 1uzfe sc400. If you need an mk3 tranny i can get you one for 225$
