Thanks for the how to on the tach I did end up taking it apart monday and remove said resister and now i have a functional tach. I also was able to get the AC Comp wired and will check the function after getting a new radiator installed.

Next will be getting my gauge to work. I grounded the gauge and wired the sensor but goes straight to half when cold so that will be next after that tach.

This weekend the motor fired right up and runs really well so I happy since it was a unknown engine. I need to get the tach working while searching here the link to do it was broken. Also my temp gauge goes straight to middle on the gauge so I think the sensor may be the wrong resistance. Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr

Yea I have thoughts about that I may have a custom line made to relocated it. I am going to wrap a starter heat blanket around it to see if it will keep it safe first also a turbo blanket on the exhaust housing.

The last week has proven to be pretty eventful with a few successes I have the intercooler mounted with good clearance for all the AC parts. With upper and lower mounts is fairly solid and has little movement. Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr I also modified the rear coolant pipe to allow more room for my down pipe Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr This weekend I will be working on the down pipe and addressing the fuel injectors as I have to swap them out.

This weekend I made some good progress but did run into a issue with having 550cc injectors and needing 440cc injectors This is just for start up to verify everything is running correct before going standalone. I did manage to install my mk3 brake pedal so all my pedals have the correct spacing. Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr Then installed my new mk3 speed-o cable and mt90 in the trans along with the shifter Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr I fully installed the manifold and WG with a 7psi spring again just to confirm initial setup and turbo Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr I mostly installed my new Engine harness this is when I found my injector issue I still need to install the firewall grommet and secure the harness Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr

I did some test fitting of some hoses today I was able to use turbo supra hoses and trim about 2 inches off each hose and have great fitment. Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr I also cut and re-welded the coolant pipe to route in a better location where I am able to use just a 90 degree coolant hose and move away from the down-pipe location. I will be adding heat sleeve over the rubber hose also just to make sure I dont have any melting concern. Untitled by datsunguy1984, on Flickr
