    [HIZOKU] PIG EYE Streeter

So i thought it was time i made a build thread on the project im working on. Old owners build thread (no pictures showing, Might need access to view) http://www.auszoku.net/foru...r=asc&start=0 Not so much a a set goal car, just something all round fun, cool and a little different. Picked the X3 back in March 2014 from owner Sam First thing i did was bolt on chin spoiler and some flairs I then removed them and got over the whole scene kid STANCED bolt on flare look. During this time i started my project company Ciscokids (Cressida/X Chassis focused parts) bought a bunch of investment properties and shares and really gave up on car's. so of course the car's came to a halt. So this bring me to to 2015 and as apart of Ciscokids i bring over Tezuka for QR matsuri and meeting the QLD Guy's and the scene there really re-sparked my interest in car's again. So start sorting my Debt's and paying them off and then decided to propose to GF to find out this will put another year delay on me getting to play with car's When i got home i went to restore the car to get it back on the road and this happened. It took a year and a half to find a new rear windscreen. the goal was to then have the car for the wedding but delays at the painter meant i did not get the car back for 7 month's All inside boot painted, door jam's and behind doors painted in Toyota Black 202 the rest will be painted once i have fitted everything and welded up holes Changed my mind on the direction of the car and decided i wanted something presentable and something i would enjoy for the long haul do a bit of everything in. plus something the wife could drive. so plan's changed to 2JZGE VVTI Manual IRS Swap Remove Power Steering box People that know a lot of my builds follow silly themes's so like my other car's this is going Black with Tan trim with a engine theme. The JZX81 i have is the same Colour combo but with a HKS engine, having always wanted a Trust/Greddy engine i went that route. So that is when this started the current parts list for this engine are below. EFI Hardware Billet ITB Set EFI Fuel rail ATI Balancer Leeson engineering Alternator swap kit Leeson 2JZ Bolt kit Tomei Procam's (256/262 combo i think) Greddy Timing belt Greddy Cam gear Greddy Oil Cap Greddy Pullykit Greddy Oil filter relocation Uniflow sock filters (yellow) Still need to get a couple more item's more so service item's and a Custom equal length exhaust manifold made Sold off my old Autronic SM4 and purchased a Emtron KV8 Cross member swap. Out with the old I have modified a E7 Cross member to fit/work the reason i went this route was i already had AE86 coilovers in the car and wanted to keep the front end as simple as possible, with no power steering box i went with a FLO's quick rack to get this to work i had to trim it and make it shorter as well as re align the holes tried to use as much of the stock items as i could to make it look like a genuine item LCA lines up dead centre as per the old one, i might need to add MX62 arms for added length but i will have to wait until i get my brakes before i put the front end back in to test/trail Stranded internet chat, IRS is a bolt in swap no issues. Well as you can see A6/X7 IRS swap is about 660mm short each side Anyway fab work to get this fixed, i went with modding the sub frame vs the body to fit this and made a jig to suit. I want to try and use all the standard IRS points in the car Sub frame was put in place, bolted in flat then welded to the box steel so it would not move, then chopped i combined box steal inside the sub frame, and turned two sub frames into one by chopping one as a shell to cover the new box steal internals. I still need to move the trailing arm/IRS mount's back to the original position but awaiting camber adjustment mounts to be back in stock at raptor racing. had engineer go over it and he is happy to pass it. Now this car was never built for go fast/drifting so that is why i went this IRS, trying to keep it semi stock looking/feeling. Problems i have at the moment is handbrake cable mounting points are in the way of the cross member, so i need to move them to suit and work out what i will do in regards to cable's Parts i still need to buy RCA's 30mm ish Big brake kit Maybe swap bars New bushes all round some cool JDM wheels 14's maybe 13's rebarrled to 14's items i have and yet to fit TRD style drivers seat, Alpine speakers (old school JDM things) Old school Greddy gauges JDM Gauge Cluster (might mod the digital part of this gauge to have elite gauge fitted internally instead of garages.

I wanted spares for my other car. majority of the sensors, coil packs etc are overkill for this engine. but if something fail's on my other two car's at least I have emergency parts for trouble shooting or to get me out of a bind. there is no other reason behind it.

No real updates, EFI Hardware is shitting me, ITB linkages hit coolant/heater pipe. so i need to redesign how the linkages work and EFI Hardware won't communicate back. for something, they advertise as bolt-on it hardly works. its summertime here, and with newborn/Christmas and NYE holidays i have not looked at the car, i have been designing rear arms for the X8. I'm currently bidding on some tension rods for the X3 though. so if i win them i will start working on the X3 again but yeah overall, this ITB kit has really been a kick in the nuts and i regret buying EFI's kit due to the lack of help once i walk out the door.

No real update, been waiting on items to arrive and also designing new shit. Custom rear arms are coming along nicely. expensive but nice with a mix of Titanium, good FK bearing Heim's joints, MERICCAAA just awaiting for Chromoly to arrive Knuckles are sorted, doing my own LCA V2's. the tension rod is in the air, do I just mod AE86 to fit to get me on the road or do i continue on designing? I have to say the size and lack of slop in the FK Hiems vs XM ones. fucking crazy. looking forward to seeing how this whole setup will work. still stuck on the rear driveshafts though.
  5. Anyway, thought i would make a build thread for the car i'm currently working on. Goal of this car is pretty much a fuck around street/drift car. so i purchased this car from Tassie sight unseen after what was described as interior is complete, and damaged repaired, had it shipped over and friend picked it up and the 1st msg I got was "do you know the condition of this car" lol so hopes had been smashed a little. The car was very cheap even after postage and well people who know JZX81's know there is only a handful in the country so i was ok with it i guess. As you can see in the pictures just about every panel on the car has issue's, the front rad support is fucked, strut rail passenger side fucked, dash items are all cracked or have holes in them. wires chopped just about everywhere and random shit missing. holes drilled into floor for battery and fire extinguisher, seats missing, seatbelts missing, just about everything LOL. i never had huge plans for this car, was going to turn it into the race car but i already have another JZX81 with weld in cage, tubbed front, etc so returning that one to stock seemed like more work than to just fix this one. so, I started the repair process. Purchased wreck with brown trim with intention of using rad support and so on. Purchased some seat's and started the process of putting this car back together Purchased an Alpine head unit was on sale and double din and only $150 so jumped on it and it’s not like I need features it’s not a daily. Contacted friends and asked what parts they had available and got front bumper, found a spare headlight in my stash of parts and have purchased front indicator's and a RH side headlight to complete all the lights. I have guards although flared i will probably run them. Engine wise it will get just about everything from my "race car JZX81" so HKS built 1JZ, Radiator, intercooler, GT3240 etc. I will post pictures up of it when i finishing putting the pulley kit and DBW swap on it. so overall, i hate the car and don’t mind denting it and so on as it will pretty much be a practice car and getting scrap parts i have had in storage over the years and will be the test mule for the race car. lesson learnt, don’t buy a car sight unseen LOL.

    Current working's X8 Knuckles

So as some of you on here know i run Ciscokids and as of late i have been rather lazy to produce my own parts, I have been working with other companies to produce item's for X8's Like Superpro and now Acostal. The reason for this is why reinvent the wheel and why should i design something when i can get a specialist to. AKA im the Supreme of the car world JK i dont vape. anyway just drumming up interest as i have kept this pretty hush hush and only told a couple of the aussies about this and even less have seen this picture. here is the adjustable knuckles for X8's acostal are working on. these are just the 1st design, plan on adding a couple other features to this. for people who dont know acostal, the company is run by Stewry Bryant, probobly not the most biggest name in drifting even here in aust, but known for his suspension design and just going big/sending it https://www.facebook.com/acostaldev/?timeline_context_item_type=intro_card_work&timeline_context_item_source=733698743&fref=tag the design is adjustable akerman https://www.facebook.com/acostaldev/videos/1633791943589399/ anyway, i will keep you in the loop if you are interested. also looking at other item's like LCA's and Castor arm's but starting off with knuckles 1st as i need them.

    Current working's X8 Knuckles

Pretty sure there clipped in there like his others and universal item. but will double-check Also the same thought, I was going to stick with stock arms extended and just average knuckles with akerman. but now thinking i might just go there and be done with it. as to be honest i CBF developing new front tension rods to use stock items LOL.

For people who dont know Stewie the guy behind InetraMS and ACOSTAL. pretty much a bum that is really fucking smart when it comes to steering/akerman and geo. below is some footage of him but yeah awesome guy to watch drifting.

o small updates, had Jeff at Motorsport Engineering Services clean up my manifold and set it up for a 70mm Bosch motorsport DBW TB. it involved welding up the old holes and cleaning up the plenum flange to suit the extra diameter. the manifold is currently at the powder coater getting cleaned up, will be good to see how it all turns out. hopefully, in the next couple of months, I will have the engine complete and ready to be fitted.Car is off to get some fabrication work done at 21Fab, starting off with the fitting rear wide body, so repair huge holes in old wheel tub to boot. clean it all up to allow larger wheel/tire combo's. once this is done the car will come back home while I work out what I will do for the front end. only one company seems to be making Caster rods at the moment and they are junk.I run bearing front end and not the standard rubber mount. this will result in the binding of some designs. below is just some paint designs quick idea's. so far im going to see how far off AE86 Arms are. As i have a set here and if it only requires me to drill one hole then I might go that route for now.

I think the only creator comfort is power steering and elec windows. I have to say I find the X6 seats more comfortable then the X8. but yeah this is a bit of a resection of a car. it is sort of that car i hate enough to thrash it, but like it enough to make it semi-decent and the reason im making it a replica of my old car is to keep people from sooking as 99% of people would not know the real HKS/Tezuka car has become something more suited to me dreams and not the peoples

So went to trail fit my Struts and well lower bush does not fit, another case of the internet says it is a bolt-on swap and well......... that definition of bolt-on is very different for some people on the side of good news, after months of waiting for the weld in threads, they are here. So this will allow me to bolt in the MX41 rear diff subframe to give the stock appearance. the front ones are probably overkilled but they will allow me to bolt in AE86 Caster/tension mounts opening up the world for aftermarket items. Still, three weeks lockdown before anything crazy can happen but pretty happy that the parts collection is getting there enough where all the custom stuff is completed and it is a case of buying off the shelf items.

So a bit of progress on this. Had a local come check it out, worked out a deal to get some fabrication work done. so the front will be repaired (new rad support not tube front) in doing so, I picked up an S14 240SX cross member this then lead me to buy a rack, get the new Ciscokids street knuckles. (Essentially Tezuka freedom street knuckles. got with his permission to build) and Started working on LCA Design for another Ciscokids product. as the whole reason for this car was R&D to offer more products to my customers so other than needing caster rods and an upgrade in suspension from the key office to shock works. the front end of this thing will be complete I have everything else.

So no real update on this, more problem-solving. I was currently trying to work out how I can get 4 point ABS sensors working and retrofitting something. I'm looking into Bosch/Continental Motorsport ABS packages and using the sensors will allow me to take better control using the Emtron KV8 with things like launch control/traction control etc. So here is stock X8 upright then X100 (upside down) both seem to be 100% the same and my control arms bolt up to it. just the X100 has the port for the speed sensor. Trying to find a driveshaft that will work, this is a mix of JZX81, IS300, IS200 and JZX81 (Yamaha), JZA70 and X83, spoke to the driveshaft shop and it is possible to mix and match ends, but I would want to be close to knowing what will fit, as it will cost a bit each time. I guess I could learn to do it myself, but that is a lot of rebuilding of perfectly fine axles. Probably pointless to the rest of you, but maybe someone works in the industry or knows a bit more about CVs etc. X100 and IS seem to have this style of bearing and X8,A7 have measurements of the outer CV X8 X9 (assume the same as X100?) That is pretty much where I'm at with working this out, with lockdown it is hard as I can't go to the local CV joint workshop and ask for help. The Interior is all in, a little issue with what seems the head unit is too large and not allowing me to bolt radio surround. But im going to re-look at this as I also forgot to hook up the reverse wire to allow my reverse camera to work. Yes, I installed a camera because after having it, it is hard to go without lol. The engine has been wheeled out, to start preparation of getting it ready. Exhaust manifold went off to get EGT bungs welded on, got a Rebuild kit for the wastegate, and the intake manifold is off to get machined down to look neater and a Bosch DBW throttle body adaption. So hopefully once lockdown is over I can go pick these items up and fit them, then it will just be a case of throwing all the bolt on's and a couple of little things like alternation relocation and sensor upgrades.

some of these updates have already been posted here, but was easier for me to copy and paste So here is my update when where I'm at given the present COVID/Melb Restrictions. After months and months, my swift springs arrived, it was a hard choice on what spring rate to go considering IRS Swap, MX32 etc. no real information to go, I did some research based on MA61/X7s and cars of the same weight like Silvias and opted to start with an 8KG spring. Current engine status? Well, one step forward two steps back? No, No Removed the ITB just before lockdown and dropped them off to EFI hardware to get DBW swap done. (See Facebook link below) I have added in some digital sensors, Why it is just a 2JZGE? The whole reason was to set this car up for the future as well as a spare parts engine for my other car's. If something goes wrong, I can remove a part and test it on another engine for troubleshooting. I have upgraded to Bosch wideband knock sensors and installed the Greddy Sandwich plate. The plan is to run Oil pressure on the hole you can see. The original plan was to run temp on the one you cant, but having to line the bolt up perfect for allowing that port to get oil I have changed my mind and have opted to go with a speed flow fitting with a port on it and screw it on the central outlet fitting. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=195546038168351&extid=jR4W7VgIyT49lLfa I have fitted the X6 interior items, nothing crazy changes other than armrest and headrests at the back and of course style. Oh, and engine mounts have started.

To be honest, I'm working on one more so than the rest, I just buy items for the others when a bargain comes along. So Project Binchicken for example, I needed to buy new rear doors, bonnet for it, so I decided to mould these items so Blackbird can get the Carbon/fibreglass makeover. I Have a Yamaha front spoiler and I'm a little scared to use it, so making a replica of it and will use it on the street ETC. the X3, is pretty much waiting on 8 threaded inserts and lockdown to end.

The media/government can go each way. like in Australia, media is reporting stats. now we all know stats can be viewed a 1000 different ways. like you can flip a basic report to show you are failing and these are your worst items, but if you flip it the other way this is your wins and best sales. the same goes for our COVID data, they are reporting a basic 24 hour period, how many tests they did and how many people have covid. but then you get idiots, complaining that the data is miss leading, it is not measurable. well technically it is not but if you want the full data you just need to go to the source and that is our deaths, marriages and births site. like you can't expect a media outlet to do a report that suits everyone, our government is pretty good to like things happen etc, but overall you can't really complain about Australia. people sook about immigrants but give it a generation and it is normally fine after that. for example mum/dad both immigrated in the 70s, both copped the whole Australia vs wog thing (don't know if you know the term wog in America just means European pretty much) skip a generation to me, and i never copped it, the whole thing was Asians being the problem. skip the next generation Asians are fine and it is afghans/middle east the problem. i think our school system is what makes it good, like everyone sort of has to play together and parents sort of just end up going with the flow, like if you kid brings someone home you sort of look after them as you would want their family to your kid. . in saying all this though, i was lucky enough to grow up in the most multi cultural part of Victoria.

It is pretty crazy to be honest, The stupid part here is we have stupid Australians who watch too many youtube videos on conspiracies etc and are quoting American law/rights to police and then the police just give them a wack, arrest them and they cry, the victim. it's just stupid. i have had to delete friends off and they have deleted me for calling out some of the stupid things they have said. Had one try and relate Covid to an artificial intelligence exercise to grab data from people. but you can normally relate to those people who are a little simple-minded and cant have there mind changed due to factual information. I guess your troubleshooting/scientific mindset you could call it.
