    FUCKING LIGHTS ARE FLASHING!!!!

No just so you dont kill the battery lol....... you gotta get some wiring diagrams and just trace it to what they all have in common... relay, alarm sys or what have you. You didn't give any details on the car so yea.

    MX73 custom one piece

yea you got raped and like i said for supra r154 you can just use the supra front shaft w/ x7 hanger bearing and x7 back shaft or get raped again apparently since youre awesome at price shopping.... like gordo said there are mail order companies that will do it cheaper, not to mention companies that specialize in supra/cressida/jz swap items like custom driveshafts.

    1JZ-VVT-i X8 From Florida - Party Time

pretty hard to make a 1jz sound bad but id imagine a combination of 1.5" ex piping and possibly ebay rattle can might do it

hopefully anyone that has the same questions you do can just search, find the thread, then proceed to kill themselves well they probably wont be smart enough to search so we will hold there hand by linking to this thread, then hopefully they kill themselves gordo is basically the unofficial jzxp authority figure because he likely dick slapped either your mom or your grandma depending on your age(13?) - disclaimer, acceptable looks, boob to ass ratio at time of dick slapping and age permitting - obviously he didn't impregnate them or by some will of god or science he did and you some how dodged all of the good genes, maybe other massive outside influences happened like fetal alcohol syndrome etc in addition that's fucked up

    1JZ VVT-I Engine managment

Well the megasquirt 3 pro is manufactured rather than being a hand built deal.... so there isn't really much to worry about. The other versions you are basically wasting money buying prebuilt because its pretty damn easy to do yourself.

    1JZ VVT-I Engine managment

Yep ms3pro is going to be my choice, not a fan of the flat wire home pc cable in the ms3x, want more control than emanage gives you. I've run ms previously and loved it. You shouldn't need a tuner to get it going just get a timing map, get it started and idling, pay for the required member ship shit ($50) and get auto tune and generate a a/f table then start running auto tune - need a wideband btw.

Seriously tho, cable drive into r154 and reverse switch is well.... a switch... iirc its on the ground side of the reverse lights so one wire put a ground crimp on and solder it then bolt it to the trans crossmember or one of the trans mount bolts... other one to whatever wire it is, don't recall. And use a connecter for a bulkhead from trans to engine so you don't have to cut the wire pulling the trans.

I used emanage ultimate + stock ecu for budget styles. If I was to do it again I would do megasquirt.

You can spend 200 and get a cheap ebay 6 puck that will handle a lot of abuse and decent power, or a higher priced more stock like one that will end up slipping if you want to put any power to it. Or you can spend 1500-2600 on a serious clutch double disc that has decent engagement characteristics and amazing torque holding abilities and converts it from being a pull type clutch to push in most cases. I did a cheap 6 puck and its handled a lot of shit, I abuse my car a lot more than normal car people do fyi. I do have an aluminum flywheel, and they have a bad rep for fusing to aluminum flywheels.

Yea it would be easier if we handed you all the answers wouldn't it, eh. I gave you the comprehensive r154 swap info that is a little harder to come by putting it into a x7 - which I experimented with myself rather than asking and then I wrote a hand holding guide on tc.net back when that existed only to get retarded pms asking me to further hold there hands. You can find info on clutch shit if you type it into fucking google instead of being a lazy parts guy. Stop whining and start doing. If you have legit questions then ask them, and you'll probably get an answer and flamed more. Suck it up butter cup because its a tough world and if you have a problem getting a hard time on the internet you're gonna end up living in a box in a alley masturbating with your tears. A lot of threads end up like this and I thought it made for an entertaining read when looking for info

Oh yea i used a mk3 brake pedal but transferred the actual pedal on to the mx73 bracket, bolts on np, had to cut the ear for the brake switch from the mx73 pedal and transfer to the mk3s because the mk3s was on the wrong side iirc. There is a threaded hole in the cross brace that goes over the pedal bracket, you can see with some shit removed and there might be some deadening material that covers it don't remember. I had to make a support piece, drill a hole for the bolt and weld on to the bracket, the mk2 clutch bracket does have the 3rd upper support iirc but iirc doesn't come anywhere near where you need it to be. Some people might not have mentioned it because they just felt the 2 bolts were fine but the moment I tried it I could feel the firewall flexing.

wow someone just told me "I SUCK" on the internet, super offended right now Probably can do with engine in but my preference was with engine out for more swinging room, but mine was out anyway. The part that needs to be expanded is closer to the cross member mounting area than the bell area. Stop reading and start doing, pull out the fucking engine and put the trans on it, hammer out the tunnel with a 48oz hammer, since you are probably either a 400lbs parts guy or 100 lbs it will probably take a couple hours. Test fit, if it isn't successful pull it back out and do more hammering. You need mk3 r154, front drive shaft... bell and flywheel for jz obv. mk2 pedals and mc. Other than the hammering and pedal bracket modding you'll have to do its a straight bolt in. Firewall flexes too much without the extra support for the pedal bracket. Transfer mx73 hanger bearing to mk3 front shaft. Auto trans xmember gets flipped around. "info i had been reading on how difficult the R series trans is a bitch to put the flywheel, PP, and clutch on. " its not because all you do is put the flywheel on, pilot bearing on then put the trans on. The clutch plate and friction disc go on the input shaft of the transmission and get bolted to the flywheel after the trans is on, its a pull type clutch fyi.
  25. Man a $700 x7 diff, lol. Yea I thought of doing something to the UZ like a remote mount hx40. But the current ls400 has 380,000 kms so good chance anything I do will be short lived, replacement uzs are reasonably priced though. Kind of expensive to convert to manual trans. Might be easier to swap in a jz, kinda why I was considering it.
