That's a reasonable price. If you got access to the materials at a good price it might be worth it, because of the china manifolds being like $500 I priced out some tubing and flanges and it ended up being close to 800-1000 depending on collector style. I was guessing on pipe size though didn't do maths or anything.

That might work, at least it should would work under full load when the gate is open... other than that it'll act like a draft tube. Wont be picked up from emissions testing. But the main thing about the exhaust venting is you do need flow to create a vacuum right? Just a example So say you're cruising on the highway at 3000 rpm, gates not open, pressure will build up in the crankcase and open the check valve, so crankcase pressure is higher than atmospheric in this case to even open up the valve. Might cause oil leaks, less cruising power, lower cruising gas mileage. Maybe the gate dump could placed and the end shaped in a way to create a venturi to create the vacuum you need for non-WOT venting. I don't know how well the exhaust venting actually works but my understanding is its suppose to use the low pressure that follows each exhaust high pressure pulse to create a vacuum on the crankcase. There should almost always be a vacuum with the outlet in the exhaust flow and the engine running.

Yea doesn't mean much to me, only ever used a 4-gas analyzer once, not common equipment here. And with no emissions testing I'm not familiar with common ppm/%. If you can/want to, try it and post the results, well if you can test it and fail without it getting pulled off the road. Maybe block off the exhaust pcv vent/re-route for the emissions testing if you cant check it. I am curious on the amount of increase it would have.

It will probably make passing emissions testing more difficult. Definitely will increase Hc's in the exhaust, if its possible to negate the amount of increase I wouldn't know, no emissions testing here. Not sure how in depth bc's emission testing is either.

Sucks driving on the highway at over 3000rpm and having a useless first gear, I'm gonna try 3.7 at some point(i have the diff), got 4.11 right now, also gonna go to 17" wheels. I don't know how anyone would like 4.3s!

You shouldn't be dumping much oil out of any pcv system, if you are your outlets are too small and too much oil pooling in that area. If you have a small orifice it basically creates a venturi effect and will suck out nearby oil when crank case pressure goes a certain amount above atmospheric or the vacuum applied to the orifice. So you shouldn't need a catch can but some oil will always be drawn out of pcv. I also think the exhaust method is the best, probably the only way to have a vacuum on the crank case at high rpm with out a lot of complication.
