I haven't even had my 1jz for 2 years, let alone 3... I don't have any ambition to finish that car anymore. I also don't have a build thread, plus I doubt anyone on here could respect 15's. btw, who are you and how do you know so much about me?

Should have had this done 2 months ago man, now I have no money to purchase one. tsk tsk.

Crankcase Ventilation / Catch Can Setups

yeah that would be a pretty awful dump pipe... -

maybe I could do some sort of air injection, a air pump that has its own check valve and feeds into the dump pipe before the feeds for the PCV valves. That could create the vacuum I need, wouldn't it? -
Crankcase Ventilation / Catch Can Setups

I can try it, if I fail I just can't insure my car for long, I was thinking maybe I could just route it into the external gate's dump pipe? cause it doesn't recirculate into my exhaust... -

Crankcase Ventilation / Catch Can Setups

engine bays don't really ever get inspected here, but my choice was going to be black fittings with black nylon braided lines anyway, not much of a heat score... I suppose the big single turbo would be though... lol -
1JZ / 2JZ Crank Pulley Harmonic Blancer Damper Dampner

I have a ATI damper for my 1JZ, bought it from summit racing. Thing is baller as fuuuck, and cheaper than buying a new damper from Toyota/Lexus here in Canada. -
Crankcase Ventilation / Catch Can Setups

Great thread. I have been looking into info on this recently on other forums, I was going to do 90 degree 1/2" NPT to -10 AN fittings on my valve covers, braided lines to a catch can of some sort... I am not wanting to recirculate the PCV's into my intake also. But now I like Gordo's check valve setup better than a catch can... I'm just wondering if it will make a difference when I go to pass my car through Air Care... (a emissions test.) -
Sooooo you don't like money?? I really want to buy one of these things.
-
I would like to pre order one, but I'd like to know how far off they are from being ready, or how many people you need to make a batch.
-
OEM preferably. Make me offers. need both front covers and the valley cover, with hardware would be awesome. For a first gen.
-
No dice?

came across this gasket on the while I was searching for new gaskets. I've never seen or heard of it before so I was wonder if it's a load of BS or if anyone has this gasket on their engine. Apparently they make them for a wide variety of manufacturer's and various engines.
-
fuhhhh, cool thanks kyle. I dunno, the gasket's I was given with my 1jz are pretty shitty/old looking, made me want to replace them. But I guess I'll give them a shot. I am using a shitty ebay manifold on my 3076 so I'll definitely check it out before I bolt it on.
-
Soooo does anyone want my monies? please take them. Need cover.
-
hmm, all I can find is the complete 1JZ gasket set on DM. I don't suppose anybody know's a current toyota dealer that can get their hand's on OEM 1JZ-GTE intake/exhaust manifold gasket's huh? I found some dealer's while searching on google but the posts were in threads from years ago. I sent some email's to them but I haven't been replied to yet.
-
that was what I was thinking.
-
I can buy some locally, I found the hardware dimensions.
-
Swell. I'm sure I can find out the dimensions of the valley cover bolts and go buy some somewhere.

bump
-
nah those are overpriced and hella gay

Any luck Jimmy? if I can't find a oem spark plug cover, I may just TIG one up out of metal... I'm purchasing a Lincoln Precision 185 here pretty quick.
-
I'd appreciate that.

thanks for the tip! but I have a carbon cam gear cover already I bought a couple months back. All I really need is the lower timing cover and the coilpack cover. But I kinda just want all oem cause the carbon cover kinda looks like ass by itself. lol.
