    Bought a Mark II JZX81

mark ii got some fresh air last night. now that i live in the sticks, it gets super dusty really fast. i bought a oem mark ii roof spoiler for a lot of money because i always wanted one. also swapped the panasports from the cressida on it. i think it looks way better, restoring those SSRs was a mistake. they're just ugly.

    I bought someone else's Cressida

Got AEM stuff for it. 506, 5" display, sensors, harness. 2JZ unlocked.
  4. So I gave this car to Gerald for free, and he put a ton of time and money into it and I bought it back so he could buy a Supra. Now I'm slowly making it my own. 2jz-gte, single turbo, r154 the usual stuff.
  5. After 50+ years of production, the X chassis is finally being cancelled. https://global.toyota/jp/newsroom/toyota/27847378.html

so the goal for the engine is basically keep it looking as near stock as possible but do around 400 wheel. still trying to decide on what standalone to go with. ecumaster, aem, link or haltech.

speaking of kids slowing down builds, the most exciting thing for the car lately is finding all the original rear badges. paid $200 for these.

Well to be honest; one thing does happen when you have kids... you start to like them. This changes you dynamically. Sometimes it enhances your other interests, sometimes it distracts you. But one thing for sure is, you will have as much passion for them as you do for any of your hobbies. For a man, it takes more time, but one day you'll be in the garage and the urge to play with your son is as strong as the urge to finish whatever thing you're working on. Hopefully they grow up liking what you like.

working harder > selling shit you love. i feel one of the most important things you can pass down to your kids is your passion. these lifeless zombies these welfare abusers are pumping out have no interests and no hope. they scare the shit out of me and will probably be the undoing of this place. so keeping your car and projects is more nobal and far more important to the wellbeing of your children then selling for a few thousand dollars that will just solve a couple months of problems.
