That's not how you work on cars?

Here's even a handy video of a greasy Romanian guy adjusting a Toyota steering rack with no explanation or description of what he's doing:

Haha yea... balance is good. I would say just use a square-ish setup. 215/40 front, 235/40 rear, or 215/225, whatever. I enjoyed my car very much when it had 215/35 front and 225/40 rear.

Yes, absolutely. I really don't like high grip setups for a few reasons. 1. Drift cars are not supposed to pivot around the front tires, they are supposed to be chucked into the corner and all wheel slide with the driver crossing his fingers and the audience expecting a crash. 2. Low front grip makes you drive the car much much harder, and promotes exciting driving. I typically try to have medium grip tires whenever possible, like Yokohama S drive at most. See: If you don't drift like this dude, you suck. Sorry for taking this off topic.

Can you put together a mod list/sales thread?

Super fair. I'm sure you'll get that, and could probably get more.

Front is way way higher right now because 225/40 RT615k is a gigantic tire. I'm going back to 215/35 next year and lowering the car in front again. The rear height is the same in both of those photos. My rear, everything is all the way down. Damper inside of bracket, collars are all the way down onto the bracket, etc..

I have no good static photos of my car's rear height.... only photos in motion. This is the best one I have that shows the height: That's with all the collars maxed out, but no collars removed. If I removed collars it could go lower in the rear, but the quarter panel is out of travel. I plan to go lower for next season. I have 18x9.5 -1 front on pulled metal fenders with +1" control arms.... you should be able to use those FRP fronts no problem.

I am so confused. Remove your wheels, bolt your fenders on. Then apply camber until the wheels fit. What's the problem? What size wheels do you have? The rear coilovers... just lower them until they're maxed out. Then droop spring. If you can't do that, pull collars. If you can't do that, buy a shorter spring.
  10. This thread is relevant to my interests. Plan for this winter is: Install OE Toyota engine and trans mounts. Install Solstice/Sky AR5 Cross fingers I've given up on the 154. They were shoddy to begin with and at this point are 20 years old. Hopefully the newer AR5 will be a bit better.

Next year will be a bit of a plot twist- we'll be announcing the plans very soon. Some more JZ sedan stuff from the other weekend:

I agree. I think the GT wing makes the trunk look shorter by virtue of it's height, which makes the roof look taller, which as we know the Cressida does not need any fucking help with. I'll go back to the other wing for next spring, along with some other changes to try to make the car look cooler.

^I think the further you move away from the camera, the slower the cars appear to be moving, from that angle. I'm not in love with the low mount GT wing. I think I'll go back to my trunk spoiler.
  15. I probably should have been more careful with the last R154 I installed..........................
