Dang whats with these trans. Recently mine ejected my tailshaft bushing. I found a huge puddle of gear oil under my car with the output seal pushed way back on my driveshaft flange as well as the tailshaft bushing free spinning on the DS flange as well. Who knows how long I drove it with low fluid lol

^^^ I like the mags that look like hillary behind bars

I didn't mean it in an aggressive way. If I had an AR it's the kind of dumb shit I'd buy for it haha
-
Let me know how the cam sensor is. One of mine is leaking oil. Went to try to replace the o-ring to realize it's actually part of the sensor, and I'd have to replace the whole thing

Gordo needs more trump engravings on the lower 😂

I've had this discussion with a few people and like I mentioned before and I fully agree with Urrik's thoughts here. I just don't think these cars were meant to have single piece. The ONLY person that I've heard say they've had zero vibration is you Gordo, and your car hasn't run in the the past decade. So I'll take that with a grain of salt hah. Rue told me he's going to try double cardan joint this time around since he's swapping from w58 to R154 right now and has an extra 1peice laying around anyways. Idk my peabrain thinks this will only make the problem worse, but I guess we'll know shortly. Although interesting counterargument to our thought process could be that x7 wagons are 1piece factory. I assume this is because the way 4link works and that the diff is actually traveling up and down that the angles probably would have been too much with 2-piece as the center point is fixed more or less. But would they not also share this vibration problem? Or maybe it's just that they can't go fast enough to encounter this problem haha. Either way it sounds like whether it was an XM shaft or a 1piece from our local shops (looks like at least 3 or 4 of us here alone have tried the local option, all different shops) end result is that shitty vibration with a 1piece.

haha ya same, because typically they aren't included in the rebuild kits.

Found my pictures, probably <500 miles in as well. But that was thousands of miles ago now. I just assumed it was because literally every bushing is either hard poly or solid at his point for me, and the fact that I remove every one of those dampener bricks on the subframe and trans xmember haha. I'm a pussy and rarely even go fast enough to get to the vibration (it's moved further back now because I swapped from 4.3 to 3.9 too) and when I am going that fast it's not for very long hah. Edit: My buddy thinks it could possible be a warn out housing busing: https://ampdistributing.com/collections/toyota-r151-r154/products/1986-93-toyota-supra-r154-transmission-extension-tail-housing-bushing

I have the same dualshock: My brand new driveshaft that came horribly balanced from XM (even after having it balanced at an actual driveshaft shop) has horrible vibration past 120mph. And my driveshaft also has similar wear lines that I can feel with fingernail =(
-
Damn you and Josh about to be flossin. Lookin good man
-
Not sure how it stacks up to the exedy twin, but my plate are also sprung and I get no chatter ever. Which I guess is good unless you wanted that multiplate chatter sound for the flex like I did =(

I don't know about that he's been in the x7 group collecting money for the initial group by-in for their upcoming x7 kit. And ya I'm a firm believer it do it right the first time and only time haha
-
haha they mad cause they can't afford one for their cars no doubt! I'm telling you even if it might be overkill I've never regretted going dual plate in my car. It isn't any stiffer than the normal clutch in the v8 car. 10/10 will buy again. Solid progress! Ever hear back from the russians? Gotta be approaching 9months by now

You can always measure you heims and find/order them online. I replaced the heims in my font XM arms with much beefier/higher quality ones. -

His parts were at least real at one point. Vampire beats posted an album to the parts he received, as you can tell it was pretty trash. Him and a few others actually received shit but like he said took >6 months and communication+products received were shit. Still feel terrible vouching to Boris before the parts were actually received. Because as everyone has mentioned he was very eager and responsive before payment but post payment = ghosting. -
Whoops sorry, I meant works bell*
-
I'd avoid anything chinese, I tried that once and it rounded out taking my intermediate shaft with it. Boss Works Bell has always worked for me, but I guess it's different for the older x3s. Take this with a grain of salt cause I've always assumed NRG was trash. But recently I've been told their products are more solid. Maybe they are trying the Hyundai approach. Too late for me though I'll just always assume they're shit.

SO i guess ill post something up since im new here. Ive had my green car for almost 2 years now, i bought it painted it lime green then dark green. I stopped driving this hoopty because the damaged CV has been shredding boots and slanging axle grease all over my exhaust. Overall I don't think I've done much since the last update. My tooner hooked me up with launch control because you know I'm really gonna make use of it with 215s And I finally got my switched hooked up and working correctly, now I have MASSIVE boost control between 9 and 13psi (which is also kind of redundant as my target boost is also mapped to TPS so I think a good driver wouldn't actually need this but we all know I can't drive for shit haha). As if I'll ever not be on 13 now that I don't rip rears. Finally got my rack relocated, I think the dude did a solid job. Move the whole section instead of just moving the mounts like I've seen others do. Hopefully it holds up. As you'll see from the pictures it's pretty much as close as it can be without having to modify the rack further. No longer have any binding near lock so thats nice hopefully it stops eating bushings every damn event. Also finally nutted up and bought a kaaz for the 8" diff, just trying to find an new if possible 3.91 R&P. Also go full bearing/seal/solid pinion spacer kit from weir to rebuild it. Forgot I got another pair of CV ends from Weir so I can replace the destroyed one and have an extra axle or 2 on the side ready to go because I'm paranoid about everything. Other than that just waiting for a few lines to be made pretty much stuck on that for now =( I'd still like to hit my new oil cooler this year but we'll see. Other news I bought another dodge and have been messing with that more. Its a 91 (pre 91.5) so it's non intercooled, It's got over 300k miles (odo frozen at 302k) but seems to run decently. Just be fixing up all the little running gear annoyances before I swap it all on to the short bed probably later this year. Skrilled out for the superQ cause why not? (SAT3030) incase anyone trying to kaaz their 8" diff Excuse the horrible hammer paint job I did hah. R Actually enjoying the truck way more than I thought I would.

I recant. His prices where nice, but the parts themselves are not great. The packaging is very poor. The finish on the pieces really isn't nice. Gel coat is trash. A few of my friends ordered kits through him, same thing wants money within minutes, expects you to send friends and family and then just ghosts for long periods of time. My one buddy has huge chunks missing out of the Gel coat and several corners are straight up broken off. I've been trying to get them to post their shit here so people know not to buy. 100% would not recommend. -
what car almost hit 9s?
