1979 Toyota Corona sedan.
Needs some TLC, but starts everyday and runs good.
Just swapped a different transmission in this weekend, working great now.
Will trade for a stock car, suspension mods okay, needs to be RELIABLE!
Rebuild, recently regasketed 20r.
Weber "Outlaw" 38/38mm carb
260 duration/425 Lift aftermarket camshaft
Downey headers with a full 2.5in exhaust done by Garage Autohero
MSD 6A igniter, not mounted properly currently but is in and wired up.
5 spd swapped from auto column shifter, new clutch and resurf flywheel. New master cylinder and stainless steel braided clutch line
14x7 Supra wheels painted teal, 185/65/14 studded snow tires all around. 10 mil spacer in the rear
Coilovers in the front (Supra struts, steering knuckles and brakes, strut housing shortened to fit MR2 shocks and coilover sleeves on top.)
KYB AGX's all the way around.
T3 Camber plates and RCA's
Cut springs in rear, TRD AE86 springs will be included for the rear however.
No powersteering, the motor that was swapped in doesn't have the newer style head with bosses for mounting power steering. Have a pump for it, but you would need to source a newer style head.
Nardi woodgrain steering wheel.
Nice Alpine deck with iPod hook up.
Stock 4in speakers in front, some older 5x7's rear. Have a sub and amp included as well, think the amp is inop however
Extra's included with the sale:
4 175/65/14 Michelin tires with about 50% tread for summer.
New outer and inner tie rods and pitman arm (replaced idler arm ~3 months ago)
New clutch master cylinder
Toyota service manuals for the car
Mikuni 44mm sidedraft carbs, with mikuni manifold and linkage, for 20r. Also comes with rebuild kits for both, rubber gaskets for manifold and Toyota intake manifold gasket, thermostat and some studs for the head Add $700 to sale if wanted
15x10 +25 Diamond racing wheels, 205/65/15. Add $200 to sale if wanted
Driver rear quarter panel has been damaged before I bought the car, I've popped about as much as I could out myself, but still needs some body work and paint.
Interior is a bit mismatched. I swapped bucket seats in instead of the bench seat it originally had, so the carpet is cut to allow for the shifter and e-brake. I put some nice tan cloth seats in from a newer corona instead of the vinyl as well, minus the driver seat which is black vinyl.
Missing the driver side interior piece that goes under the steering column.
Dash is cracked
Windshield is cracked (Can probably get one installed for fairly cheap at buyers cost)
Minor coolant leak from EGR plate at back of the head, just need to monitor the coolant level, top it off every month or so. Not too difficult to reseal.
Needs all the outer and inner tie rods and pitman arm replaced (parts included) steering has some play in result of them being old and worn.
Lost front license plate, just noticed today.
No choke on the carb, so has to be revved for a minute or two when cold before it idles.
Needs a plate over shifter hole, have duct tape over it currently
Could use new tips on the muffler.
Can install new steering components, reseal EGR plate, have new windshield installed, all for extra $$.
The tips on the exhaust are no longer there, the welds on the muffler broke and the tips fell out.
