    Y0SH's JZX83

So I lowered my blue NA Alltrac and threw some 18” G35 wheels on it. One of the fenders was damaged, it had a little rust starting by the rear wheel wells, and the rear lift gate had a big dent above the rear glass so I started looking for a parts van. I found one with a vague description for sale that looked like the parts that I needed were straight so I went to check it out. It turned out it was a near mint condition Supercharged Alltrac with a blown head gasket. So I fixed the head gasket and sold the blue van. I then found a good deal on a set of 17x8 high disc +32 Front and low disc +24 rear with 245/45/17s. Threw them on the van and the offset is perfect and will give me room to put the big brake setup I want on the van in the future. Then I lowered the van 3” on RSR super down springs until I’m able to order some HKS coilovers. But I’m waiting to do a IRS swap out of a TRC21 Estima. And when I tried to order a set shipping was 1400 from Japan. Over the next week I’m going to be setting it up to run my mobile detailing business out of. Will be installing a water tank, power washer, compressor, a larger output alternator, and possibly a driveshaft driven alternator in the dear future.

    Bought a Mark II JZX81

mark ii got some fresh air last night. now that i live in the sticks, it gets super dusty really fast. i bought a oem mark ii roof spoiler for a lot of money because i always wanted one. also swapped the panasports from the cressida on it. i think it looks way better, restoring those SSRs was a mistake. they're just ugly.

Yeah, while Australia was pretty good with COVID, we had to be isolated to the baby ward. im lucky and I have private health cover for my family so it was like a holiday stay. but stupid me did not understand/register when i was packing clothes i just packed clothes to suit people coming to see the baby, not the consent 36c degrees or what ever it was and no clothes to sleep in or wear other than jeans and tee's been good after though, even though we had to wear masks etc and was locked down to a 5km radius for the start. i have done my best to show her more then just the house. also helps living on 32 acers.

    [HIZOKU] PIG EYE Streeter

Mine just turned 9 months old three days ago. Seeing as he started the manufacturing process about two months before anyone in China had ever heard of Covid I wouldn't call him a covid baby. But he has definitely started life in the thick of it. Was wild going to the hospital in the middle of everything. Really sucked that my wife had tickets to fly to Japan to have the baby set to depart three months before the due date. But her flight was cancelled. So we suddenly had to start making plans to do everything here.

Yeah, my daughter was born almost 11 months ago to the day, so she is a COVID baby, and was born during lockdown here in Australia.

I totally understand the doing things before baby bit. Especially when I was sitting at home for a month or two during quarantine not working and waiting the last couple of months for a baby to pop out. I am gonna shoot you a message I want to ask a question about the front end.

    x3 oyaji wagon

So I finally made the decision on an axle, picked up an explorer 8.8 with 3.73 gears and positrac. Today we were working to cut off all the old mounts and clean it up to get ready to put on the new spring perches. Just incase anyone was interested in if I am still working on it or not.

Oh, the royal piss bag, and the steel intercooling piping really makes it look, well, like shit. Pistol grip will make it look like mexican diarrhea. You will love it when rust scale starts entering that pos 'meracan pig-iron V8-2.

Project IBIS.... AKA the bin chicken JZX81

Forgot to add, there is also progress in the 4P ABS Sensor retrofit. just waiting for some parts to land and I will trail fit but im pretty confident I have worked it all out using off the shelf Toyota parts.
  18. ROBAPHENT

Project IBIS.... AKA the bin chicken JZX81

Slowly progressing. this has been slow more due to the waiting of parts and getting other things sorted. first, I had the rear 1/4s fitted some time ago but have not finished off the fitment due to needing my doors, did not have the doors as I was busy moulding them to make lightweight doors for my other project 81. (buildthreadcomingsoon.exe) now that is done I will fit the door's and clean up the 1/4s for perfect fitment. other hold-ups have been in regards to working with Chromoly for my rear arms. but what i now have is my PGS dogbox, stockworks coil overs, my custom 40mm RCAs (prototype in the picture) and a lot of loose ends to fix up. rear 1/4 and 30+ mm wider flare FPR Door. PGS Dog gearset Shockworks coils and the R&D going into the suspension the arms are probably overkilled, and I will prob not end up selling any but if im putting my name to it, I would rather have it the best quality I can. this does not mean I might not bring out a lesser quality version under another brand. the RCA's had been spot on, but i was stupid for getting the prototypes made in what i wanted the finished product to be in as essentially this will not get used and are pure to test fitment etc. but lesson learnedt.

Small update. Rear strut bushes changed and fixed to suit. the rear end now in. found out driver wheel bearing is seized, axles boots need replacing and as you can see the axles look to be on the upward angle at strut full highet nothing dramatic and hopefully raising the diff mount will correct this issue. has superpro make me a ISO diff bush had issues with the front end, first being LCA's being a lot longer than i needed but the main issue was ball joints being stuffed and unable to bolt coils/knuckles in etc. caster arm are about 100mm too short so need to fabricate. but what shitted me the most was using mate for fabrication. awesome guy etc but I wanted the front end to be able to bolt in AE86 stuff and have no issues, instead, he made the AE86 stuff fit the X3 witch meant drilling some very expensive Cusco items. it's done now, just annoying and why I will prob not go this route with other cars. So what is left? well remove it all, paint it all including the body and get what I need to be rebuilt. so it will be finished rolling/steering wise. the only major concern after this is the steering shaft and extractors everything else is essentially off the shelf and little fabrication items. oh and wheels to suit. with a daughter, it has been really hard as after 7 pm im bugged and my weekends are spent with my daughter doing things. so i do regret not taking advantage of doing things before baby. but I will make it work.

oh and i figured out where id go with the shifter.....and the boot/bezel. ill be 3d printing the bezel for the OEM center consol opening to let me run the B&M shifter with the CR maple boot. been looking at waterjetting a giant hurst pistol grip shifter handle for that subtle drag/drift smashup....

well gentlemen, its taken a while to get where i am now....no longer a master mekanik, now a true mekmachinist...seriously cnc waterjet is the bee's knee's for a gearhead. designed and built a few giant 3d printers so i can make some CF reinforced abs and polycarbonate parts....(working on a 7.5ft x 4ft x 4ft machine that can print the nose for a 94 cutlass.....only way to make racecars lighter....is to make em with more multi functional plastic parts) https://youtu.be/_k1h48T0Ob0 the cressida runs, found lots of electrical issues related to the older toyota stuff, mostly it doesnt like the higher current loads imposed by modern PCM's put it together without the 70mm turbo since ive gotta find a rearend solution before i go grenading something and destroying a rear quarter panel. im pretty much stuck with a custom ford 8.8 or 9 inch while making my own brackets or getting that 8,8 toyota axle bracket kit and make it work. i gotta finish my final rework of the electrical system, im replacing the toyota engine bay box with a GM fuse/relay box...mainly because you cant seriously believe id keep the toyota stuff when the GM stuff is cheaper and the relays can actually swap positions..... it now has a pretty stand alone system for the powertrain but i have the voltage issues extending inside the car as well. well anyways onto a video or two. sounds like a pissed off 2 stroke snowmobile. equal length primary and secondary headers were the right choice, sounds rowdy as hell for a 200hp/240ftlb tq NA 3800 LN3/L27 V6 here's about where i finally figured out why the pcm was killing the O2 heaters/ignoring the O2's and not going into closed loop....because of low voltage transients https://youtu.be/7qfiIgveqQw here's it running most recently before i decided to rip it apart and fix the electrical carp properly https://youtu.be/aGJe7x2z730 cross yer fingers for me that i can drive it in the next month. take care fella's, keep on wrenchin! Regards, James

    hello

I hope he grew up a bit in the past ~15 years. He took me for a ride when he was in town. Straight up tryharding 10/10ths for over an hour in city traffic was terrifying.

I believe it. Now JZXP is prepared to survive the assimilation of all message boards into Facebook, the forced electrification of our personal transportation, Chinese mainland invasion and following inevitable nuclear holocaust
