okay, went to go order Xcessive jzx7 mounts, $91, pretty fuckin pricey for 2 small pieces of 1/4" steel and some hardware. Okay, whatever I dont wanna make them myself or have them made so fuck it.

USPS or UPS ground Shipping from portland Oregon to Just over the border in British Columbia... $133?!!

That is a joke, How much do the mount's weigh? MAYBE 5lbs together?? I ship stuff for a living, It does NOT cost that much for a ground shipment from oregon.

I'd sooner go swap in a x8 crossmember and go get jzx81 mounts for less than $200.

I realise beggars can't be choosers but like common guy's, really?

The distance isn't the issue.

It's the part you neglected to recognize: that it's an international shipment.

Ship it somewhere in Washington and pick it up like every other lower mainlander.

Pretty sure thats correct. Like it was said above its international. Price damn near doubles the shipment. Shipping wheels from California to Canada is the same way. Anywhere in the lower 48 states, priority for $250 or so. Canada, double that.

and I mean that in the least dickhead way possible(because after reading it again sounds super dick).

if you paid attention to the notes, it says to call for accurate shipping quotes as the calculator is not accurate.

it does not cost $133 to ship mounts across the border.

The calculator is wrong as said, but if you want to save time emailing ship it to Ship Happens in Sumas, WA. then you dont have to whine about it.

Not trying to seem like a dick, my point is they need to fix that calculator, it is wayy off. I didn't read anywhere that it said to call for accurate shipping quotes, I guess I was too busy looking at the $224 total.

A friend of mine got BC coils for his x7 shipped to ship happens, so I'll probobly end up going that route.

Dont use fucking UPS or ANY OTHER COURIER SERVICE for international shipping, unless you want to get raped. Ive given up with drop shipping shit to the boarder. Its not worth the hassle of driving down only to find out your getting searched, along with charged tax some other bullshit charge if whatever you bought wasnt made in the states. I'll pay someone to give whatever I want to USPS to send here.

Believe me, its pretty hard/ expensive to write an algorithm that will correctly calculate shipping to all 196(or so) countries in the world. Every country has its own post(for the most part) having different rules for price weight and box size... I dont think its cost effective for smaller companies like so.
Not gonna mention names but some other websites that sell car shit dont even have a calculator, you have to call, or email only..
Its pretty accurate for the U.S.
Last time i checked canada also has customs bullshit on larger boxes?

This has been addressed earlier. I thought the thread was stickied but I guess not.
The online shipping calculator uses UPS as its service. This is reasonable for regular items shipped in the states, but XM uses other services to ship internationally.
Get in touch with them for the best option.

So I have gotten a lot of questions about the auto-calculator on their website. Sometimes it is way off for the size or weight of the part.
Xcessive makes no money on shipping, If you are at all concerned with the price or believe that it is off you have two options.

1.
If you pay the amount shown and Xcessive has found a cheaper way to ship they will refund the difference.

2.
Email or call Rich before making your order and he will give you the cheapest rate for as quickly as you want it to arrive.
