In case anyone cares i started making shift boots.





they are S13 pattern. they're definitely big enough to fit a cressida. I'm going to do some fitting soon to get in-car pics.

also have some black camo and junk, just didn't make samples yet.

other than whats shown, what are my fabric options?

not much right now. beside urban camo i have some dark grey/black volcom fabric from a new bandana too.

there isn't much in customization here, i just sew them up on my gf's sewing machine and voila. something different that's not ultra expensive. shipping is included.

i also sew in a supportive material that makes it less like a cheap floppy dick and more like a factory sort of shits.

I might need to jack your pattern, I've made two semi-successful prototypes out of shitty blue naugahide/vinyl that matches my interior and looks terrible. I generally hate them so I bought a beaver pelt off ebay and am planning the ultra-Canadian shift knob and boot combo of high polished tiger maple knob with machined Stainless steel insert and beaver fur shifter boot. It will redefine cressida luxury. The two things I really need to work on are a really good pattern, and figuring out how to attach the boot to the center console so it doesn't pull out. That and I need to soften the beaver pelt a bit to give it more flexibility and movement.

89 supra's have a metal ring around the shifter boot at the bottom. It usally wrapped and glued to the plastic.

yah fer sure i just bent up a clothes hanger, jizzed some spray adhesive and sewed that bitch up.

i based my pattern off of an 86 altima boot. there pretty fuckin close

yeah, it's not that hard to get a shift boot to stay in, most cars just have a few screws holding in a ring of plastic or something. i usually just put the boot in there and screw the ring down over the boot and it's usually just fine.

sweet deal, i made mine out of flannel. i love it, definitely one of the cheaper/nicer things i've done.

Was on there to buy a sticker, pulled out wallet and realized the guns boot matches my rogue status wallet perfectly.

Took it as a sign and bought it haha.
