Since i dont have any post on this website i figured i should share my build.

My X7 was my first car and upon realizing how fuckin pimp it is, a few years later i decided to do the logical thing > 1JZ

Heres what i started with
Posted Image
Posted Image

Then this happened first shots of the engine at home

Posted Image
Posted Image

and now it was time to pull the old 5m ( That i had destroyed top and bottom end "trying" to drift )

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

Now that i had taken the trash out i had room to work!

Posted Image
Posted Image

some maintenance timing belt serpentine. 2jz water pump etc...
Posted Image

Next i had realized i had to make the engine fit... this is where the BFH technique came into play. Mounts came from celicasupra forums

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

After the bashing the Y&S technique was used to maneuver the engine and tranny to theyre final resting
Posted Image
Posted Image

Next was to fit this bad boy ( got very lucky and ran only 2 pipes to meet the engine!

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

As for the driveshaft driftmotion made up this aluminum bad boy for me
Posted Image

Then came the wiring.... after spending many hours in the car staring at a million fuckin wires i had managed to wire it up into the chaser harness. ( X7 dash makes a great beer bottle holder) I Also modded the tacho board with the according resistors.

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

With a few more modifications and alot of zip ties ow she was ready for a test drive :D

Posted Image

Flooring this thing as soon as i left the neighborhood with no dashboard in the car made all of the work worthwhile. I almost shit myself driving windows down and open DP in this FUCKIN JZ BEAST

Posted Image

The glovebox is now home to the ecu

Posted Image

Here are my gauges mounted in the dash.. 7 color led
Posted Image
Posted Image

Got some HIDs 55w 5500K
Posted Image
Posted Image

I put on this e46 m3 roof spoiler ( no i dont have a cherry bomb )
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

I did all the roof and side panels in grey suede and painted the dash and doorcards black
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

Some shots of her

Ya that was a real fuckin pain in the ass and a nightmare im going to have to repeat when i do my clutch :(. The whole diff has to be broken loose then the driveshaft has to slide sideways and back into the rear subframe then into the tranny. after that i had to attach the end and tighten the pinion nut to the diff and screw in the end U joint onto the driveshaft after the hole in the subframe with like zero clearance spinning the rear tires to get to the nuts... If was even harder for me to do because of course i decide to let the diff lay on my chest while im doing this..... It ended bloody and with alot of the Y&S technique but it worked!

i was gonna say unless you wanna blow your twins or spin a bearing i would suggest you stay away from the useless bouncing off the rev limit ive seen soo many motors go because of that bee*r

I know  i just messed around with it when i first got it. when i was fuckin around i was bouncing pretty low like 4.5-5k, but the fireballs and bangs kinda persueded me to ignore the consequences

I mostly got it because when i accidentally spin the wheels or my clutch slips it spits me back down at 6500... plus the resale value on them is pretty strong so ill dump it when i go with new management.

so just because you don't want to hit the ECU's rev limiter, you put in a Bee R that does more damage than good or fun...?

Your car's cool and all, that box is just a bad idea.
