Testing of the knuckles was done over the weekend. They work great!
Here's a pic of stock angle
The stock knuckles were a bitch and a half to get off. I highly recommend using PB blaster or penetrating oil a week in advance on the ball joint and outer tie rod. Mine were so seized that I have to use an torch to heat the knuckle until I could hammer it off.
All the factory tapers are machined in and fit perfectly. With most of the ackerman gone and the knuckle shortend 100mm you'll have to either run jzx100 outer tie rods or buy the extensions we are making for these.
The factory setup is just too short by 3/4 of an inch. So to make extensions that are both safe and functional we had to cut the inner tierods to 3/4" to be able to fit the extensions.
These extensions will be sold with the knuckles when production starts. They have grade 8 studs and lock nuts already on them so there is no worry about them backing out. Also they are long enough if you convert to S13 FLCA to space out your wheels for more clearence.

The extensions are 3" overall.
I had to grind the lip off the outer tierod to make it easier when aligning the front end. It's not needed, but the added room helps.
If you remove all the lip, it gives you an extra 1/2" of play to the threads. I plan on either welding heim joints to my stock FLCA or make a set that has a wider stance so I clear the frame.
This is the maximum angle I can get compared to stock with my current wheel setup. I'm hitting the frame at the moment, but if I put spacers on I could get another half turn out of the rack. The steering feedback gained with these knuckles is tremendous, It is very smooth and returns to center super quick. Turn-in at the corner is very precise and very managable. And weight transfering is effortless. I love these things.

Production parts will be Zinc plated like all others, these are just the prototypes. Currently there is no price set yet, but I should have one shortly.
