So does anyone know how many amps they draw? That's the $10,000 question here... A guy I was talking to about fuel stuff recently advised me against an A1000 saying that he had one and it ran fine, just drew a shit ton of amps (and was noisy as fuck). Told me he replaced it with this, a Bosch unit, and it does fine, only draws like 3 amps or some shit iirc and it's quiet. When I looked it up it was rated at 300lph which is comparable to the Walbro, which made me wonder about the question at hand.

Toysport and 935 Motorsports suck. Don't buy from either.

if i were given a choice i'd take bosch 044 over walbro 255 all day, but for my in-tank setup it's just heaps easier with a walbro. 044's take up some room. not retarded big like a A1000 though.

Idk, I'm still trying to get a handle on electricity and i probably never will. We never talked about pressure he's running. The manufacturer of the pump I just bought says 12 amps at 45 psi. I know I'm retarded. The guy I've been talking to is, maybe. He did make my cousins 4wd f350 break into the 12s until it killed the Detroit locker and added the semi wheels though. I'm probably just asking the wrong questions.

Just think of electricity as flowing water and remember to bring highlighters when you look at circuit diagrams. That's really all you need for wiring proficiency.
Any fuel pump system you might use will not need more current than your alternator can handle. Just make sure you're using proper gauge wire and fuse. Easy peasy.

I tune cars for a living. I am addicted to late 80's and early 90's cars. I need help.
