I picked this cressida up in march and drove it around for a while occasionally beating on it and the a304e began to hate me and forget how to shift. I was completly fine with that figured i would do a w58 swap WRONG drove it with the shitty trans for alittle while longer and the headgasket went i wasnt suprised figured alright well i will just do the headgasket WRONG. Drove it a total of maybe 4 times after the headgasket started to go and now i have rod knock so what does that mean?? IT'S JZ TIME!!!!!!

Here is a pic of how i drove the car everyday:
Attached Image: monthly_08_2010/post-2270-1283111955.jpg

Here is a picture of the motor i picked up all cleaned up on a stand looking pretty:
Attached Image: monthly_08_2010/post-2270-1283112147.jpg
its a jzx90 motor set internals were really clean when i pulled everything open and i got it for a really good price the only thing was that it had the shifter extention good thing i had a supra r154 back housing and shifter laying around

Here is all the cool stuff i payed too much for from driftmotion lol:
Attached Image: monthly_08_2010/post-2270-1283112439.jpg
timing belt, 2jz waterpump setup, front & rear main seals, metal pcv valve, those cool pullies, clutch line, ps line and some other good stuff.

Thats all the pictures for now i will update as progress continues i still have alot of stuff to do like get the harness done, get a ypipe downpipe setup for the twins, intercooler setup, put all the pedal stuff for the 5speed in beat the tunnel yay!!!!

they are only 16's? They look larger for some reason. I've always wanted some of the model 6's as drift spares in 17/18x9

tear that shit out, looks like you've got good paint, you won't regret it. makes the bay so much cleaner looking.

Thats cool you feel like you can make a 7m proper. Just do it somewhere else. Around here we call that shit gay.

More cell phone pics! so i left the 7m on the floor in the garage that night and apparently the jz came down off the stand and finished it off because i got to my garage in the morning and the 7m was bleeding all over my floor lol

Put the trans and whatnot on the jz:
Attached Image: monthly_09_2010/post-2270-1283719204.jpg
Changed the rear main seal and put the clutch and all that good stuff together

lined everything up and she fell right in:
Attached Image: monthly_09_2010/post-2270-1283719328.jpg
Beat the tunnel the firewall all that good stuff im using the excessive engineering brackets they are the shizznit shifter sits dead center!

Got bored and grabbed another bay shot:

Came back the day after fitting the jz to do all the little things

Did the clutch master and pedal:
Attached Image: monthly_09_2010/post-2270-1283725441.jpg
Even with that setup it still fits like doodie but whatever lol

Attached Image: monthly_09_2010/post-2270-1283725462.jpg
I like the way the pedals sit i had to bend the clutch pedal arm

Power steering:
Attached Image: monthly_09_2010/post-2270-1283725476.jpg
I love this figured out the stock res can be bolted to the tower on the other side and i was actually really happy about that im into the stockish kinda look lol
