I did a bit of searching both here and on google but didn't come up with anything conclusive. What is the range of the stock 1JZ MAP sensor? 2 bar, 3 bar, eleventeen bar?

Well, they transmit a voltage. So you could go to the setting option on an SAFCII or newer and plot a voltage for a given boost pressure. You will have to determine the sensors maximum voltage signal output and just multiply your voltage by boost. Are these a 0-5 volt?

Should be easy to figure this out, and this way you would have ACTUAL data and not internet intelligence on the matter.

Thank You
