Hello JZX'ers.

Look at your Cressida, now back to this, now back to your Cressida, then back. To. This. Sadly, it isn't a Lexus. But if you got Lexus emblems, leather interior and climate controlled AC, it could look like its a Lexus.

LOOK DOWN. BACK UP. Where are you? In the engine bay, with the engine YOUR 7M could be like. Look in your hand, now back at me, it's a silky-smooth 1UZ that's only as fast as NA 2J but gets the mileage of a turbo. Anything is possible when you have a car that strippers are okay with riding in the back seat in.

Anyways,

I've gone back to the guy I bought it from for parts... He deemed that I was 'cool' so he showed me his 'project area.' I'm now 99% sure this dude runs chop shop. I went with him to this hidden garage/covered area around SE 82nd-ish tucked away in an all-Vietnamese neighborhood where there were a bunch of Lexus and BMW's in various states of dis-assembly. lol

Ordered some stereo stuff for it, going to put in an Alpine with bluetooth and bypass the Nakamichi junk. Getting into PSI when I can with Mark to start pulling AC, ABS, TCS and whatever else can be taken out relatively easy. Still not hired but I'll have a set of Stance GR+ and 18x9.5+25 522's on order within the next couple weeks. Next step after that is Monster Performance for W58 bellhousing and clutch/flywheel kit.

I have pictures you can use for fitment reference if you'd like. I also have a jza80 front sway you can have with the aero if you want the aero.

Ps. If you have any questions about these cars lmk.

Pps. The aero I have is the same color as your car.

18x9 +24 with 225 40
18x10 +24 with 255 35

Fronts were sunk 20 or so mms, rears were barely flush with the body.

If you really wanna get gangster though I have some 25mm overs for a jzz30... just sayin smile.gif, you really don't need them though You can run decently sized wheels on zz30's easily.

Origin? I thought I was gonna have to get some but after finally seeing some decent pics thanks to Jon and Garcia, I see I'm good. Maybe once I'm ballin' outta control and can get those from you and Jon's kit or Origin Stylish or BN blister knockoff, which is +50mm front and back, but then I have to find x10 and x9 with seriously low backspacing.

Looked at the brakes this morning and saw some FUBAR shit with the front calipers, checked rotor thickness, etc... Ended up doing EVERYTHING in the front. Backs were a bit rusty and still making some noise but the pads are fine. Coilovers are being put off for a bit now.

Everything? Second gen ls400 4 pots bolt on.. Dang nabbbit.

This car with stock body will accomidate 10s and 11s with some agressive ish offsets and gracious fender work, widebody is only relly a necessity for silly huge wheels, jussss sayyyinnnn.

It's all good. I got the impression the brakes were enough. Will get some green stuff pads at some point. And yeah, I know on the wheels its just that I got a different idea reading club Lexus and that shit ass fitment thread. I have a pretty good idea of how to go.
