Hey everybody. Just recently picked up a very clean MX32. I'll apparently be the 2nd real owner. 1st owner was some old guy who had it all its life, traded it in to a dealer who later pretty much gave to a friend who drove it for 4 months, then garaged it for 5 years. As i'm typing this i realized i totally forgot to see how many miles are on it.. . .

anyway, i've always been into old imports over new ones. my first car i started tuning was an 88 Accord coupe.

then a few years later i aquired an 86 Accord hatchback which i loved. wub.gif

made a bad (but fun) financial decision, sold the accord to a buddy and got a 2001 VW 1.8t GTI. its quick, its got booooost but its just sinking me so i must let it go.

but i think i'll have fun with the new car. I don't really know much about these cars and thats why i'm scouring the interwebs for any info i can find. I'm excited to have a RWD to play with. I want to be able to drift it, but not in any kind of competition way. Just have fun once in a while. Since its an automatic, my first priority will be getting a standard gearbox in it. I'm thinking that while i'm going to the trouble to convert to a manual, i might as well do an engine upgrade as well. I have scrapings of information as to which motor will be best to go in this beast. i'd like to go 1 or 2 jze, but i need to learn more before i decide.

since a motor, tranny swap won't be cheap, i'm gonna get it sitting right which will be cheaper. I really like the old skool japanese look with the bigass pipes and crazy wide wheels, but i dont want to go super crazy as the body on my Cressida is really nice.

i didnt get pictures today of mine, but i'll post soon.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention. i'm not looking for bolt-on options. i'm used to doing things the old school way and finding other parts that work or making my own and adapting.

So what exactly do you call tuning? What was actually done to either accord, the hatch appears mostly stock.

I like hatchi rokus better when they are panda. Those wheels are baller, lookin pretty damn flush too. You could use a roof rack and a domo-kun hanging from the rear tow hook. So kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! (^ _ ^)

Supa' fail. Obviously he's not THAT accustomed to old school goodness. Thats either 115k or 215k or 315k or whatever, boss, depending on how many times it rolled over.

Nonetheless, enjoy your MX32.

P.S. Nice S12.

DOH, since i hadnt driven it yet i assumed the white number was miles, not tenths (though that makes much more sense). the car is way too clean to have 215k on it IMO. or it was VERY well taken care of.

You can form sentences, make evaluations about the decisions you make, and have modest and achievable goals in mind. You'll do well here and in life.

Accord looks flippin sweet, and I'm sure that that MX3 has only 15,000 miles on it. Make sure you tell people that.
