My name is Robert Do and I reside in Orange County. I’m 17 years old and about to turn 18 in a few days. I’m young, but I’m not a fag like most other people.
After weeks of searching, I finally bought my 92 Cressida from an elderly Vietnamese man a few months ago and a lot has changed since then. I started off by purchasing a set of Megan Coilovers and a Volvo lip within the first month and put on some 350z wheels while I was at it. I just finished swapping my automatic transmission with a W58 with my friend Thomas (mr2thomas on the board). He actually convinced me to purchase a Cressida and has helped me immensely learning about the ins and outs of cars. I hope to learn a lot on this forum and broaden my knowledge with the opinions of others.
My current plans are to get my diff welded and get some track time before the summer ends and of course continue saving up money to purchase a 1jz before my shit blows up. Julie (JTVan) and Thomas might be able to hook it up with their spare engine set. I hope everything works out.
For those of you interested, Thomas and I are also beginning to fabricate and produce some knuckles for our cars after we purchase a band saw very soon.
