My name is Steve. I'm from the far north, up in Kelowna BC, Canada.
Just bought a 91 Cressida, pearl white, bone stock. only has 172,XXX KMs on it (about 106K miles) and paid $1100 CAD (~1050US) for it.
Will it stay stock? Hell no. First order of business is to check it over and make sure nothing needs replacing before i get into modding it. Once that is taken care of coilovers and wheels are a must. Still undecided as to which to use, whether it be S9 Track coils, or S13 Megan Track coils with S9 Collars. Wheels I still need to research. Have a couple in mind, but I need to see more so I can make a better decision.
After the footwork is handled i'll deal with the engine/powertrain. If i can get a W58 swap on the cheap it will go in just to get the car in MT form, but it most certainly will not stay in. The 7M must come out. A 1J will definitely be the weapon of choice.
Kits/lips and other cosmetics will come with time, but for the moment i'm more concerned with slamming, shimming, and drifting the cressida. thus doing a W58 before getting a 1J.
